One is an old LaserJet 8150 that I have networked at 192.168.1.48. Everything
works perfectly with WinFin 26--duplex, 11x17 paper, 1200dpi, etc.
Today I set up an old LaserJet 5000 to network on
I have a memory of creating a tenor sax part [it’s transposed with a diff key
sig. Tenor Sax]
hyper scribe keying in concert and it automatically scores the Part a step
higher. How do i accomplish this?

Score for wind ensemble.
In the parts I needed to flip any number of slurs.
I save, end my session, and return to the project later.
All the slurs I flipped in the parts have returned to their original undesired
position.
What am I missing to

them.

I've had to Delete Linked Parts and Re-Generate a few times because of
that, or Chord Symbols/Staff Styles not showing.
It works, but you have to re-format the parts.
Maybe only Delete and Re-Generate the problem Parts, not all, don't know...

Hi, Restarting my Computer fixed that for me, until it happens again, then
I repeat!
Some have said having anything plugged into the Headphone jack would fix it.
Weird, But it didn't have any effect for me,
It happens only occasionally, and restarting is fixing it at least for a
while.

Select All just puts the Styles on every staff, not what I want.
Only certain individual staves ( for me ) have them, so applying them last,
before Generating Parts is what I've found that works.
Otherwise, they may not be there.

I am prepping a score with 8 instruments. On most of the Grand Piano part i
don’t need to see the left hand
but later in the medley i do need to see the left hand. I did this about 6
years ago but can’t remember how. Any help?

It seems I enter data with my midi keyboard attached and it's driving the
internal sounds. After the computer is asleep for a while and I come back to
work again the keyboard will make notes appear in hyperscribe but the sound
audio instrument is no longer driven. Anybody else experiencing
I have had some difficulty bringing older files into 2014, but nothing totally
insurmountable. I think repeats and a few other things didn't work. I'll try
the 2012 to XML see how it works. I'm in the process (finally) of giving all
my work the same look, so any time saver is welcome.

When that happens to me in 2012, I add additional Dynamic Expressions,
duplicating whatever previous Dynamic was marked. sometimes several in one bar.

from the San Francisco Symphony, and virtually ALL groups I've ever played in.
Players who mark their parts to be SURE of the accidentals.
Check your precious Finale Parts sometime, see what the players marked in.

You'd be better served to download the Bach font, which contains myriad symbols
and is specifically designed for use in word and similar programs. Of course,

No Low C on Bass Clar either. You have to buy the Garittan Orchestra Package
to get missing notes.
I've used the Soft Synth Contra Bass Cl to cover the Low C's, but it doesn't
fit with the Garittan, too fuzzy, fat and woofy.
Is there a Bass Fl you could steal those notes from?
Yes...at times I think this feature does more harm than good.
It is supposed to solve a problem that would arise from entering music into
existing block rests.

I would be surprised if this were a type 0/type 1 issue, unless the Encore user
specifically chose to export as type 0.
Also--if the others opened well, that's a sign that the one file is problematic.
