Re: CShelp for cracked vertebrae
Debbie: To fix the crack you'll need to supplement with Alta real food Silica (3 per every meal), magnesium, vitamin D3 and calcium. If your Dad is not on a good multi vit mineral, I suggest that, too. Vitamin C will help to strengthen the tissues around the vertebrae and the discs. He should notice a difference within two - four weeks. Surgery, in my humble opinion, is unnecessary - too dangerous for a man of his age. The recovery time from surgery might be the rest of his good life. A natural approach to healing this, I think, would be best. The problem with silver chloride isn't so much the chloride but that people didn't know how strong they were making it when following that 1 PPM per minute rule that went along with the old methods and using a generator that limited current way higher than is useful for making CS.more to prevent fires if the electrodes shorted together. The reality is more like PPM per minute/ per minute and in 5 minutes you could be at 5 PPM or 50 and not know it, depending on how much salt. You have to retain about 3 to 4 grams of silver to turn blue [or grey ] Doing that with a *normal* metals elimination system is virtually impossible at 20 PPM and under at a *normal* 98% elimination rate over 48 hours. If your elimination system ISN'T normalit could well be possible to go Smurf. If that system is dealing with a lot of copper, for instance, and you aren't getting enough selenium for it to replenish the raw material it uses, it could be compromised. It's also possible to make clear CS at 50 to 75 PPM...even 100 PPM, IFFY, but possible and not likely to stay clear for very long. I once ran a batch up to to 79 uS [probably somewhere around 100 PPM] that stayed clear for 6 months, then went deep yellow and dropped back to 30 uS with no dropout or plating of the container [the silver was still in there]...and a few drops of H2O2 cleared it up again. Beyond around 30 uS, meters become useless as conductivity rise rate goes nonlinear at a constant current, slowing WAY down, while the constant current ensures a linear ion emission rate. IOW Just because it's clear, doesn't ALWAYS mean it isn't WAY STRONG. Another thing. Had you supplemented selenium, [which is key to the removal of both silver and copper..but..is there a preference as to which goes first?] you may have experienced the same relief and maybe not gone grey. With so much interaction and possible variation it's really hard to draw any conclusions that aren't just drawings...but it's pretty clear that something wasn't **normal** in the light of many many thousands of people having NO idea what they were doing for 30 years, didn't go greymany using zero caution with NO clue and maybe 6 cases of Smurf. Virtually impossible isn't an absolute...it means highly unlikely...risk factor VERY low. But there are always those 1 in a million exceptions when no two people are the same. I have heard many cases of people dying from mold. Wish there were better tests for it, and better ways of dealing with it. If someone has an overly strong allergic reaction to it, there may be something that can help -- there is a new treatment for allergies, imported from Australia, that seems to actually cure them with one treatment. There are a few places around that offer the service, like Advanced Allergy Treatment Centers of New England. It is based on technology that has been around for years, but has been modernized now. The concept is to expose you to a potential allergen, then test you to see if you are sensitive to it, usually by measuring muscle response. Your muscles get weaker when your body is exposed to something it is sensitive to. Then when they find one, they treat it by massaging your spine, and the allergy goes away. It sounds hokey, but in fact it works. I no longer have my lifelong allergy to cats as a result of those treatments. One treatment, that's it. No shots, no meds, nothing intrusive, no ongoing anything. Very cool stuff. To be very forthright and honest I believe my problem was exacerbated by my treatment of lack of circulation in my feet with Niacin which opened the smallest blood vessels and allowed the silver to migrate into my skin where the flush occured. As far as the Blue man is concerned I would say he fell into some Rit or some kind of food dye as Argeria only affects the head not the hands (other than the moons), and body in general. Thanks Max Couldn't have said it better. After three tries at informing of the possibilities and not being able to find the messages except in my sent folder I just figured that nobody wanted to know such a thing. Dave Hey Dave, If you sent messages to the list that didn't post, it was not because I stopped them. Either you weren't subscribed at the time or not with the address you sent them from (unlikely if you were receiving messages), they disappeared into the ether for no good reason, or they were too big for the very restrictive message size limit (18k). That, unfortunately is a silent failure; the list server does not auto- respond. I often let people know their messages are too big and how to easily trim or reformat and re-send, but there have been periods of months at a time in recent years when I've not been able to give enough attention to the job to catch those cases and respond individually to each one. I've had to defend folks making argyria reports a couple of times. It's hard for some to hear and natural for them to be suspicious. We need to hear these reports, though. The reception you and Max are getting today is what I expect of the group. You'll be asked to give details and answer questions; I expect everyone to listen respectfully, assess the data and learn. Re: CSMare with Possible Melanomas in Mouth
Dear JoAnne, You wrote: I am trying, also, to learn more about side effects. Before you abandon the field in confusion, please hear the answer to your question. Are side effects possible from silver products? Yes. One possible side effect is common to any treatment that can kill germs; the Jarisch Herxheimer reaction. Take somebody who's really sick, give them some treatment that kills a lot of germs really fast, the toxins from those dead germs get dumped into their system all at once and can kill them. That's how the doctors involved in the discovery of 'Herx' effect figured out what was happening -- they were accidentally killing off their syphilis patients using some of the first effective antibiotic treatments. Learning from their experience, we now know to start slow, ramp up the dose until symptoms just start, and manage them by modulating intake. Symptoms are usually described as flu-like, and are seldom serious. If you talk to people who've been fighting Lyme disease, you'll discover they rate the success of a treatment modality by whether they get a herx or not. They see it as a sign of progress. Obviously, in a veterinary context, you'll have to watch for signs of distress, monitor temperature and other vitals, etc., just as you do with any other treatment. The other main side effect, which is being discussed right now, is argyria. Argyria is a blue to grey discoloration of the skin or other organs caused by silver particles becoming trapped in the tissues. Upon exposure to sunlight, the color 'develops' much like it does in photographic film processes. The really celebrated cases, Rosemary Jacobs, the senate candidate from Montana a few year back, last year's blue man... all of these have in common using high concentration silver preparations, particularly featuring silver salts of one form or another. In Rosemary's case, it was very potent prescription nose drops she got back in the 1950's. The other two made their own CS using horrible methods taken to an extreme... Basically, use tap water or added salt to speed up the reaction, brew 'til you have a container full of murky gunk, and drink a bunch every day for a year or three. Commercial products have caused a number of cases; 'WaterOZ' which turned out to be high concentration silver citrate, I believe, and various mild silver protein preparations are on the list. The stuff most of us make is less than 20 ppm and contains silver ions and particles, water and, at most, negligible amounts of anything else. In order to consume enough total silver to get in the range of what is considered necessary to cause argyria would require a person to consume tens of gallons. You would also need to consume it fast enough to swamp the body's elimination channels in order for that amount to actually be retained. Here are some example numbers: Taking a pint per day would have you consuming more than 45 gallons in a year. At 20 ppm, that would be a bit over 3 and a half grams of silver. If all were retained, that might be enough to start you down the road to argyria. You'd only take anywhere near that much if you were fighting something pretty serious... Dave's case clearly falls in this general category. Taking a pint or two per day for a few days or weeks, isn't going to be enough. A swallow every other day is not going to do it either. If you decide to take substantial amounts for an extended period, supplemental selenium is a good idea to replenish the eliminative channels so your body can keep ahead of it. There are a number of reports of successful reversals of argyria using carefully designed aggressive supplement regimens, plus progress being reported on a laser-based treatment for directly reducing or eliminating the pigmentation in the skin. So there is even hope that wasn't there a few years ago. Now, JoAnne, you're patient is your mare. Is it safe to give her CS? At least one person here has said they've done it with good effect and no problems. That's probably as specific an answer as you're going to be able to find. Most of what we have to go on is direct experience of that sort, given that none of us have the money to sponsor extensive studies, and the people that do don't want the competition from something as cheap and easy as silver. For people, of course a cosmetically significant condition like argyria is a serious matter, even though it is not otherwise health- threatening. The disfigurement can have severe repercussions on quality of life, self esteem, employment, relationships... In your case, even in the worst case of severe argyria, however unlikely, you'll have to ask yourself if it would be an acceptable consequence if it helped you save your horse's life. Silver is a useful tool. Like any other, there are risks to go along with the strengths. As with everything we do with alternative health and medicine, it's a do-it-yourself project. We are

Re: CShelp for cracked vertebrae - Lisa, Joints etc
Comfrey is the prime first aid remedy. When applied to the skin allantoin diffuses easily into the underlying tissues so that when applied over a fractured bone it can accelerate healing and closure. Applied fresh to wounds, sores or ulcers http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/ulcers.htm, the mucilage in the roots or leaves seeps out onto the injured skin, dries and then thickens and contracts, drawing the sides of the wound together, inhibiting infection http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/infection.htm. Where the wound is fairly superficial comfrey will heal the skin with little scarring http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/scarring.htm. A poultice or ointment can be used for bruises http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/bruising.htm, sprains and strains http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/sprains_strains.htm, gout http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/gout.htm, arthritis, bleeding piles, varicose veins http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/varicose_veins.htm, phlebitis, and ulcers, swellings and burns http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/burns.htm. A decoction of the root or infusion of the leaves makes a good eyewash for sore, inflamed eyes and a wash for skin problems http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/skin_problems.htm such as psoriasis http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/psoriasis.htm, eczema http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/eczema.htm, acne http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/acne.htm, and boils http://www.herbs2000.com/kids/boils.htm. The leaves have healing properties and a particular affinity with the respiratory, digestive and urinary systems. Comfrey is used for sore throats http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/sore_throat.htm and laryngitis http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/laryngitis.htm, as a soothing expectorant for dry coughs http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/cough.htm, pleurisy http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/pleurisy.htm and bronchitis http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/bronchitis.htm. In the gut comfrey soothes and heals gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers and can be used to reduce irritation causing diarrhea http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/diarrhea.htm, dysentery http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/dysentery.htm and ulcerative colitis http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/colitis.htm. In the urinary system comfrey relaxes urinary spasm, soothes cystitis and clears irritation and infection. Comfrey is taken for gout and arthritis http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/arthritis.htm, as well as other painful or inflamed conditions such as tendinitis http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/tendinitis.htm, sprains, and fractures. Comfrey's ability to promote the healing of bruises, sprains, fractures, and broken bones has been known for thousands of years. Comfrey encourages ligaments and bones to knit together firmly. A comfrey compress applied immediately to a sprained ankle can significantly reduce the severity of the injury. The combination of tannins, and mucilage helps to soothe bruises and scrapes http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/cuts.htm. *Skin problems* - Comfrey oil or ointment is used to treat acne http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/acne.htm and boils and to relieve psoriasis. Comfrey is also valuable in the treatment of scars. *Other Uses* - Hantavirus http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/hantavirus.htm, Housemaid's knee http://www.herbs2000.com/disorders/housemaids_knee.htm. The principal ingredient allantoin works to promote the healing of tissues within the body. It is complemented by the rosmarinic acid, an anti-inflammatory agent. The mucilage is demulcent and works to soothe irritative conditions, both internally and externally. The tannins act as an astringent. The pyrrolizidine alkaloids are thought to be damaging to the liver. These pyrrolizidine alkaloids are mainly concentrated in the root of the plant, and therefore there is common agreement by the main bodies of herbal practitioners that this should not be taken internally. It has, however, also been substantiated that the leaf does not present this problem, and may be taken internally under the guidance of a qualified herbal or medical practitioner. Both the leaf and the root can be safely used externally. Dioscorides, author of one of the oldest herbal texts, ‘Materia Medica’ of 50 AD, prescribed the plant to heal wounds and broken bones. The genus name symphytum means to heal together, and for this use, it is renown: that it can assist the body to heal any part that is torn or broken, which also explains the reason for another common name, knitbone. Leaves or roots applied as a wash, poultice or ointment are used for bruising, sciatica, boils, rheumatism, neuralgia, varicose veins, bed sores, wounds, ulcers, insect bites, tumours, muscular pain, pulled tendons, gangrene, shingles and dermatological conditions. Internally, comfrey has been used for: indigestion, stomach and bowel problems, excessive menstrual flow, hoarseness, periodontal diseases,
Re: CShelp for cracked vertebrae - Lisa - more on comfrey
In old English Dr. Kirschner used comfrey in his medical practice to promote the healing of ulcers and wounds. He traces the history of comfrey back to 1568 and W. Turner's Herball which said of Comfrey Symphytum, the rootes are good if they be broken and dronken for them that spitte blood, and are bursten. The same, layd to, are good to glewe together freshe woundes. They are good to be layd to inflammation... He then cites Gerard's 1597 Herball, which indicated comfrey for ulcers of the lungs and ulcers of the kidneys, and Parkinson's 1640 Theatrum Botanicum: The rootes of Comfrey, taken fresh, beaten small, spread upon leather, and laid upon any place troubled with the gout, doe presently give ease of the paines and applied in the same manner, giveth ease to pained joynts, and profiteth very much for running and moist ulcers, gangrenes, mortifications and the like. Culpepper says: 'The great Comfrey (great to distinguish it from the Middle Comfrey - another name for the Bugle) restrains spitting of blood. The root boiled in water or wine and the decoction drank, heals inward hurts, bruises, wounds and ulcers of the lungs, and causes the phlegm that oppresses him to be casily spit forth A syrup made there of is very effectual in inward hurts, and the distilled water for the same purpose also, and for outward wounds or sores in the fleshy or sinewy parts of the body, and to abate the fits of agues and to allay the sharpness of humours. A decoction of the leaves is good for those purposes, but not so effectual as the roots. The roots being outwardly applied cure fresh wounds or cuts immediately, being bruised and laid thereto; and is specially good for ruptures and broken bones, so powerful to consolidate and knit together that if they be boiled with dissevered pieces of flesh in a pot, it will join them together again.' He goes on to describe its curative effect on haemorrhoids and continues: 'The roots of Comfrey taken fresh, beaten small and spread upon leather and laid upon any place troubled with the gout presently gives ease: and applied in the same manner it eases pained joints and tends to heal running ulcers, gangrenes, mortifications, for which it hath by often experience been found helpful.' Baker (Jewell of Health, 1567) says: 'The water of the Greater Comferie druncke helpeth such as are bursten, and that have broken the bone of the legge. It is important to meet potential physician objections with a clear, shared understanding of the “comfrey rule”: fresh leaves externally, boiled root decoction internally. A modern medicinal tincture, employed by homoeopaths, is made from the root with spirits of wine, 10 drops in a tablespoonful of water being administered several times a day. Comfrey is also beneficial for deeper tissue injuries such as bruises, strains and sprains. It is probably the best herb I know for healing broken bones. For deeper tissue injuries it is best to use comfrey in the form of a poultice. For broken bones, it is preferable to also use comfrey internally as a tea or tincture. However, the healing of bones is a long process, generally longer than is recommended to use comfrey internally. Fortunately, comfrey can also be used in a homeopathic potency for this purpose, which is completely safe. I recommend taking comfrey tea or tincture three to four times per day and also taking the 200C potency of Symphytum once a day for the first week or two after the fracture occurs. Then stop taking the tea or tincture and switch to the 30C potency of Symphytum taken three to four times per day until the fracture is completely healed. Never begin to use comfrey in any form until the fracture has been set. It will not be possible to use the herb topically when a cast is required. Nevertheless, it will still be beneficial to use an external preparation for about a week after the cast is removed. Besides broken bones, these externally poulticed leaves and roots are also used for cuts, bruises and sprains. Comfrey is best used fresh and simmered. Use the sticky paste to make a compress and attach it with an elastic bandage. Use every night. This will speed the healing of the fracture dramatically. To heal her fractures, every night Cloe would grind several tablespoons of comfrey with a mortar and would bring it to a boil with a few spoons of water. She then would make a paste out of it, spread the paste on a cotton cloth, wrap it around her arm, and put elastic bands or safety pins in to secure it. Even though she had 2 fractures, Cloe decided not to wear a cast but a sling, which is why she could take off the sling at night. Writes Cloe, The feeling of that compress was heavenly. Even though everyone said I'd always know where my arm was broken (rain and humidity brings back the pain for the rest of your life), I never felt it and I attribute that to the comfrey compress routine. It's known to

I'm not Max But will give you an answer as to my situation: I took an average of one pint per day (sometimes more - sometimes less) for eight years all clear made with a colloid master 777 with a setting for 20 ppm as of the manufacturers telephoned instructions. As you know they have polarity switching and no stirrer. I have been taking a multiple ( one a day) at three a day and adding selenium and vitamin E as well as 3 grams of C, Lysine and D3 which had no effect on the greying. The trouble with my feet was numbness that had progressed to the point that I couldn't feel my toes and couldn't move them. The Niacin brought them back into service and I can now even spread them like you can your fingers and as a side affect all spider veins and varicose veins have disappeared. My immediate non-rational response to this information is that it is a scam to cover the DNA damage done by frequencies in the gigahertz range. Maybe it it true, but it is just the sort of stuff that the bad guys promote. For example, a prestigious Brit medical entity a few years back published a study that indicated that Vitamin C in theraputic doses causes Cancer. Jim On Mon, Jan 25, 2010 at 8:55 PM, Jonathan B. RE: CSVit C increases iron uptake
Alpha Lipoic Acid has been shown to reduce iron buildup in the brain and inhibit excess iron accumulation. While there does not appear to be studies regarding iron and ALA in other body tissues, I see no reason why ALA would not protect them as well. - Steve N http://lpi.oregonstate.edu/infocenter/othernuts/la/index.html Metal Chelation: Redox-active metal ions, such as free iron and copper, can induce oxidative damage by catalyzing reactions that generate highly reactive free radicals (24). Compounds that chelate (bind) free metal ions in a way that prevents them from generating free radicals offer promise in the treatment of neurodegenerative and other chronic diseases, in which metal-induced oxidative damage may play a role (25). Both LA and DHLA have been found to inhibit copper- and iron-mediated oxidative damage in the test tube (26, 27), and to inhibit excess iron and copper accumulation in animal models (28, 29). 28. Yamamoto H, Watanabe T, Mizuno H, et al. The antioxidant effect of DL-alpha-lipoic acid on copper-induced acute hepatitis in Long-Evans Cinnamon (LEC) rats. Free Radic Res. 2001;34(1):69-80. (PubMed) 29. Suh JH, Moreau R, Heath SH, Hagen TM. Dietary supplementation with (R)-alpha-lipoic acid reverses the age-related accumulation of iron and depletion of antioxidants in the rat cerebral cortex. Redox Rep. 2005;10(1):52-60. (PubMed) http://www.advice-hgh.com/ala/blood-and-iron.html As mentioned above, lipoic acid chelates transition metals, binding them tightly and preventing them from going on a Fenton frenzy. More specifically, R(+)-Lipoic Acid is superior to the S(-)- in controlling the acceleration of free radical damage by copper 54 Likewise, lipoic acid can protect cells from the toxic heavy transition metal cadmium through chelation, but it only becomes effective when charged up into its DHLA form; 55 since the body makes DHLA from R(+)-Lipoic Acid much more quickly than happens with the S(-)-form, 37 , 39 that should mean that R(+)-Lipoic Acid gives stronger protection against cadmium toxicity than the S(-)-form. And what about iron? The ability of the racemate to tie up iron is well-established,30 although unfortunately no studies that we know of have compared the iron-chelating protection provided by the racemate with the powers of R(+)-lipoic acid. But there's only been one study to see if lipoic acid might be able to protect the brain of a living, breathing organism against damage from excessive iron buildup - and that study used R(+)-lipoic acid. 56 In this study, 56 scientists looked at the levels of iron in the brains of young, middle-aged, late-middle aged, and old lab animals. Not surprisingly, the older the animal, the more iron it had in its brain, though how much more depended on what part of the brain the researchers looked at. When they looked at levels of vitamin C in these areas, the scientists consistently found that the more iron was present in a given part of the brain at a given age, the lower was the level of vitamin C - suggesting that the presence of iron was depleting the brain of its antioxidant defense forces. Remarkably, at the end of an experiment that lasted just two weeks, the forebrains of old animals which were given R(+)-Lipoic Acid in their food were found to have 60% less iron buildup, and to have undergone a substantial restoration of antioxidant defenses (as measured by vitamin C levels), as compared to unsupplemented animals in the same age group. No significant differences were seen in other brain areas; however, one wonders if a mere two weeks may simply not have been enough time to mobilize the iron accumulation from structures located deeper within the brain. Either way, this study - combined with the other known neuroprotective effects of lipoic acid (and especially the R(+)-form) - suggests that R(+)-Lipoic Acid shows promise in the prevention (and, perhaps, even the treatment) of several devastating neurological diseases. -Original Message- From: sol [mailto:sol...@sweetwaterhsa.com] Sent: Tuesday, January 26, 2010 9:21 AM To: silver-list@eskimo.com Subject: Re: CSVit C increases iron uptake At 04:28 AM 1/26/2010, you wrote: But iron overload is really scary - it even causes cancer. Since the pain is so bad, you might consider a 2 1/2 lb. therapeutic magnet for direct application. My mom said it was the only thing that made her think that she could maybe stand the pain from popped discs from osteoporosis, largely due to Vit D dificiency. If you have trouble getting the Alta silica, then Eidon liquid silica drops are a highly usuable item. In less than a week, I am seeing remarkable improvements in my skin with this. A good powdered full range supplement such as Julian Whitaker's Forward formula may prove valuable. Certainly zinc and selenium cannot be overlooked. Green drinks will give a real boost too.I am very sorry to hear of your Dad's plight. He can heal, but he will need greater amounts of most nutrients. Vit. Re: CSAnecdotal Evidence and CS
Sad tale, Steve, and good points. Vito might have had a herx reaction, too. sigh Still, if you add up enough anecdotal evidence across a large enough population and long enough period of time, it starts to become reasonable to draw some tentative conclusions. For instance, how many folks report going for years at a time without getting sick after starting to take CS... after a lifetime of getting colds, flu, or whatever, on a regular basis along with everyone else? Hear that tale often enough and you'll start to think maybe CS is contributing to that. Even in mainstream science and medicine, there's a vehicle for developing research directions on the basis of clinical experience. If a doctor sees something interesting happening in his or her patients, they can publish this, usually in the form of a survey of the literature and a case report, which seeks to interest researchers in pursuing further studies based on those anecdotal reports. Of course, we're not doctors, there are no official journals ready to publish our reports, and no bevy of institutions looking for ways to spend grant money developing our ideas. And ideas that are too radical or crackpot sounding are unlikely to get picked up, even when it *is* a doctor making the report. Some would also suggest there needs to be some profit in the idea for somebody. So for things like CS we're limited to watching the literature, accumulating anecdotes, and doing as much testing as we can afford to do as individuals and small groups. We can wish for more, but there's still good that's come of what we've been able to do. Mike D. I'm always reluctant to accept anecdotal evidence at face value. I recognize that sometimes it really does suggest a compelling connection a la cause and effect, but at other times it does not, but people will believe crazy stuff due to coincidence. Here is a true story involving CS. One of our pet rats, Vito recently lost most interest in eating and began acting lethargic and depressed. My wife, who tends to our small furry friends faithfully, asked me if CS might help. I said it might. So she started mixing it 50/50 with regular water. Vito lapped it up greedily resting every now and then because he was weak. She did this for a couple days. Then the other night, Vito passed away. The gist of the story - Our sick rat drank CS and died. Now to some people, this would represent the proof they needed to show that CS is toxic. To others, it just would mean that poor Vito was too far gone for the CS to help, assuming that it could. In my mind, Vito was on his last legs and his hours were numbered. There is no way I believe that the CS hurt him, despite his ultimate demise. This is the problem with anecdotal evidence. It can be extremely convincing, yet it is NOT scientific and not proof of anything. Some things are right, even though there is not good proof. And some things are wrong, despite evidence which appears compelling on the surface. Cheers. CSFw:Klinghardt KPU Protocol For Lyme- off Topic
Hi Rainie and Others, This might interest you...it came to me a few minutes ago. Blessings, Peter - Original Message - Hi Everybody Dr. Klinghardt says that there's something that happens in Lyme disease that makes us very sick..lyme has this mechanism of stripping the body of zinc, manganese, molybdenum and a few other really important minerals. He says that it is THIS that primarily disables the immune system and that this is one of the most important things to address in treating lyme patients. He says if you can fix this mechanism - which is easy - you go a long way to setting the person back on their feet. It's called the KPU protocol and you can google for it. KPU is something that can be tested for through only ONE lab - called Vitamin Diagnostics in the US. It is a $50 test and anything over the number 15 is abnormal. Lyme patients are usually around 70. Cheers.

I explained to my family that cough syrup doesn't taste very good but it will do a job. They agreed. Silver (what we call CS in our house) may taste bad but it'll do the job also and better. They agreed to keep trying it. Except for one week after Christmas we've been cold free this winter. Now if my daughters have a sore throat they will ask if they can have silver. Use CS as the liquid or part of the liquid (use distilled water) and mix it with powdered gatorade. Mixing it with liquid gatorade dilutes the gatorade to the extent that I also find that taste very unpleasant. But it is good mixed with gatorade powder. I think if you want the CS diluted, using distilled water tastes the best. sol At 05:56 PM 1/26/2010, you wrote: Here's my problem. My daughter has the flu and my wife is coming down with a cold. It's more a matter of *how much* information will/can be willingly/readily given or extracted from the individual and what conclusions, if any, can be drawn based on that information. CSRE: silver-digest Digest V2010 #114
That may not be entirely without merit. The thing about Vitamin C (which I am a huge fan of) is that it behaves differently in small doses to large doses. It is speculated that in small doses a cancer can use its anti-oxidant properties to protect itself. In large doses, when it becomes concentrated it can actually make a small amount of H2O2, but only intracellularly, not willy nilly all over the body causing damage, therefore becoming a pro-oxidant like MMS and others. It's been shown that pro-oxidants are not friendly to cancers. Vitamin C and Glucose (which cancer likes) are extremely similar in molecular structure, and it is speculated that this is the reason Vitamin C can reach a cancer where other therapies cannot. More than that, Lipoic Acid (I would suggest R-ALA over others) can help the Vitamin C to be recycled (480% more usefulness in studies I saw), and does have some mercury chelation properties (not sure about Iron - need to look into that one). Oral Vit C can out perform even IV if done properly. Take care Paul . For example, a prestigious Brit medical entity a few years back published a study that indicated that Vitamin C in theraputic doses causes Cancer.

I can never understand people who complain about the very slight metallic taste of CS. I'm apt to just say that it's medicine, not a refreshment , so just suck it up. Actually the one out that always worked for me for unpalatable drinks it to hold your breath (or even your nose) while chugging. If you can't smell, you can't taste. Here's my problem. My daughter has the flu and my wife is coming down with a cold. Neither one will drink the CS because they have drunk it before and hate the metallic taste. I really don't notice much taste, it just seems a little flat to me, so no big deal for me. My daughter tried mixing it with Gatorade once, but was really upset with me because I 'ruined' perfectly good Gatorade and it tasted gross. Any suggestions on how to make it more palatable to finicky family members? The metallic taste comes from silver hydroxide produced when the hydroxyl ions from the cathode reach the anode and combine with the silver ions. The equation is Ag(+) + OH(-) -- AgOH Assuming a low current density, silver ions that reach the cathode will plate out instead of making AgOH. So the anode will become black from the AgOH, and the cathode will be dull gray. You can tell how the process is working by noting the color of the tissue after wiping the electrodes at the end of the brew. For a more detailed description, please see the theory page on my web site at http://www.pstca.com/silversol/theory/cstheory.htm If you stop the brew before the ions reach the anode, you won't produce AgOH, or only a very small amount. The resulting cs will have the highest ionic content that can be reached with your electrode geometry, quality of dw, and current density. This means it is the most effective you can make. It will have absolutely no taste, which is what you need to convince your family to take it. However, there is a serious problem with contamination on silver electrodes. The electrolysis process atomically cleans the electrodes. This makes them much more sensitive to any contamination in the vicinity, such as sulphur from automobile combustion and the vapor trap in the kitchen sink. Putting the generator in an air-tight plastic bag when not in use can help reduce the contamination. I put my generator in the freezer compartment of a new, unused refrigerator. The sub-zero temperatures keeps humidity frozen, which make it impossible for the tarnish action of sulphur. A second trick to slow down the ions from reaching the opposite electrodes is to wait 15 minutes or 1/2 hr after pouring the dw into the generator. This allows the turbulence to settle and the water to become still before starting the brew. The difficulty this can present is some forms of contamination will leach from the electrodes if they are sitting in the dw. This can increase the conductivity by a significant amount and affect the brewing process. Finally, when you have made the highest concentration possible, do the salt test to verify the strength of the concentration. This means to pour a small amount of cs into a shot glass and add a few crystals of canning salt. The salt will combine with the silver ions and form silver chloride. This is insoluble and makes a beautiful milky dispersion. If the dispersion is weak, it will be a pale blue. If it is dense enough that you cannot see objects behind the glass, you have a very strong solution. The fastest way to absorb the ions is through sublingual absorption. Hold a mouthful for 10 or 15 minutes, then spit it out. The amount of ions absorbed will be less than 10%. A very simple calculation shows the amount present in the blood stream is very small. For example, a typical mouthful is 50 millilitres. Since one millilitre of dw weighs 1 gram, 50 ml is 50 grams. Say the ion concentration is 20uS. This means it is 20 parts per million, or 20 ppm. This can be expressed in scientific notation as 20e-6. The amount of silver in 50 ml of 20uS cs is 50gm * 20e-6 = 1000e-6, or 1 thousand micrograms. Of this, less than 10% is absorbed, so there is less than 100 micrograms in the bloodstream, or 100e-6 gm. The typical blood quantity in a male is 5.5 litres. Assuming blood has the same density as water, this is 5,500 grams. The silver ion concentration in the blood is then 100e-6 / 5500 = 1.81818181818e-8, or less than 18 parts per billion. This is a very small amount, but it is all that is needed for the immune system to function and kill the viruses that cause colds and flu. There are significant advantages to using sublingual absorption. * very fast absorption directly into the blood stream * bypasses the liver which can filter the silver ions out * only very small volume of cs needed * saves on dw, improves life of silver electrodes * kills bacteria that cause cavities * kills bacteria that cause plaque * kills bacteria that cause gum disease * eliminates any possibility of Argyria * eliminates killing friendly bacteria in small intestine (often mistaken for herxheimer) The difficulty

One is use of an ordinary Hulda Clark Zapper with electrodes placed across chest and/or neck. For humans, a few drops of saturated solution of mag sulphate or mag chloride a few times a day. I have just recently read this on one of these boards and tried it once myself. Re: CSHelp me get my daughter and wife to take CS
HuH ? Tastes Bad ?? I've just phoned a friend and I got its refreshing , I love it, slightly something, bitter I think . L is a heavy smoker. Her other comment is that The process will kill any bugs in the water. Just to hammer this home my friend makes and takes 500ml per day sometimes 'brewing' for long times. Using local municipal tap water which I find tastes mouldy. I'll have a look for blue nails etc. My comment is slight sandy feel . I don't think I could distinguish EIS from fresh water in a blindfold test. I'm a non smoker, take a few sips per day maybe. I use borehole and roof water which tastes good. That indeed is curious. They agreed. Silver (what we call CS in our house) may taste bad but it'll do the job also and better. They agreed to keep trying it. Except for one week after Christmas we've been cold free this winter. Now if my daughters have a sore throat they will ask if they can have silver. They know the benefits. -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. Re: CScracked vertebrae
Pain results from local qi and blood stagnation. Acupuncture is the best, there are also some great herbs. You could also try essential oils to move qi and blood. - Original Message - From: Shirley Reed pj20...@yahoo.com To: silver-list@eskimo.com Sent: Tuesday, January 26, 2010 11:12 AM Subject: CScracked vertebrae Since the pain is so bad, you might consider a 2 1/2 lb. therapeutic magnet for direct application. Green drinks will give a real boost too. I am very sorry to hear of your Dad's plight. He can heal, but he will need greater amounts of most nutrients. Vit. C is indispensable and of great importance as everyone knows. I hope he gets the same or better results with the magnet. Sure was a relief for my mom and she had several pop. Best wishes, pj ps lots of magnesium too!! :) -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver. CS Testimonies
I am a new comer to your colloidal silver site. Would it be possible everyone who has had a personal positive experience or someone they know really well, give a short testimony. Maybe there are old files that could be printed. I think this would be very helpful to everyone, new, old and doubting relatives. Include animal stories also.Just a note. Why do you indicate site as CS, why not EIS. Could one conclude that CS might make you blue, where EIS won't. Thanks Marty
