For pesky house ants: 1/4 c confect sugar + 1 tb borax...sprinkle on
trails and/or place in small lids (keep it away from pets an children),
ants will take it to the queen. This works!!

I havent tried it with fire ants, but maybe??
Double or triple the mixture add to CS, pour on and around the mound.
If anyone tries this let me know how effective.

Thanks,

believer in its ability to heal and to keep one healthy. I have experiences
with cs healing and
have stated them on this forum in the past (although, I am a relatively new

Mr Lee appears to be the type who loves to argue and fight, from reading the
tenor his posts.
I simply posted a medical link (seemingly a reasonable link) and questioned

dared to question his somewhat irrational post). I love stories such as he
told about the hairy
green meat, but run into problems when I try to justify my beliefs in cs to
my rational friends
with stories such as that. For daring to question, I am called a liar. I
thought that this forum
was a 'give and take' forum where we could all investigate, dare to
question, comment, and
check out the veracity of others' statements. If my Lee was in my classroom
and was given
a WebQuest assignment about this whole scenario (as an uninvolved
investigator), he would
be in the 'C- to D' range grade-wise right now.

I refuse to enter into that and will not respond to his personal problems or
his agenda.

Out of here, lurking from now on, or at least until I have read several
hundred hours of archives
per Mr Lee's prescription (thought that I had already done that, but didn't
keep track of how
many hours I spent in the archives - my wife would disagree, she says I
spend too much time on
the cs site as it is). Oh well.

I am clueless about it and am new to this board. Thanks.

  Beth Brawn

Dear Beth, Here are the directions I give to new folks, maybe they`ll help
you, too!
  Love,
  Marshalee

Here`s how to make Colloidal Silver:

You`ll need 3 nine-volt batteries, the square ones.
(the Lithiums last 4 times longer than the alkalines, if you can afford
them;
they are about 21 bucks at Radio Shack)
2 five inch pieces of pure silver wire, 14 gauge, .999 fine, (not sterling
as it has other metals in it.)
2 alligator clips, (the kind with 2 clips on either end of a plastic coated
wire, 2 sets actually, also available at the Shack)
2 cups of distilled water in a glass measuring cup, (I always use glass to
make CS in. I have a cup used solely for making my CS.)
A new green scrubber, just for this purpose.
An empty water bottle to store your finished CS in. A pop top plastic bottle
is just fine.

Rinse the cup and storage bottle with distilled water to remove any dust or
  soap residue.
Take the batteries and snap them together, one upside down on top of the
other two.
This will leave two empty posts on the batteries.
Connect the silver wires to the posts with the two alligator clips.
Drop the wires into the water, with about 4 inches submerged, and about 1
  inch apart.
As they tend to float around, you can put a candycane bend in the top of the
wires
and hang that over the lip of the cup, with the connectors hooked to the
bend. Don`t let the connectors get into the water.
It is now working. You can`t get shocked by it.
Now leave it and time for 30 minutes. You may notice some bubbles coming off
one wire, and fine wisps of gold coming off the other, that is the Colloid
forming! The bubbles are hydrogen, from the water. There will be a buildup
of fuzz on one wire, that is silver oxide. It is harmless, but you can wipe
it off
with a paper towel. Replace the wires, and time for another 30 minutes. This
one hour activation gives a CS of about 18 PPM. The longer it works, the
higher the PPM.
When finished, wipe off the wires with a paper towel, then with the green
scrubber until the wires are shiny again, and detach the batteries. Store it
all in a ziploc bag to keep it handy. The finished CS doesn`t need to be
refrigerated. If you keep the bottle out where you see it, you`ll remember to
take it!
I take 3 big swallows a day for an active infection, sometimes even more.
(My swallow is about 1/3 of a cup.) The silver particles are fine enough to be
easily excreted, so taking more won`t hurt. If you hold the CS in your mouth
for a few minutes, it will clean your mouth nicely.
I take one swallow a day for a preventive. I use it topically too, and even
in the
eyes. It is mild and doesn`t sting. Splash some in the pits for a natural
deodorant. It is bacteria that causes BO, and since CS kills the bacteria, no
BO!
CS doesn`t taste too bad either. Some folks notice a metallic tang, others
don`t. I`ll slap some on my skin for a sunburn, and will be tan the next day. I
use it for bug bites and stings too. Canker sores respond quickly.
I have used CS for my pet birds, and always put some in the water bowl for my
Pug dogs. CS is even good for cut flowers, they will last for weeks. It is
bacteria that actually kills fresh-cut flowers.
It can be sprayed on houseplants with fungus or rust. A dollop in the milk
jug keeps the milk fresh for a long time.
There are lots more uses for CS in the body and around the house.
Any place bacteria live can benefit from CS.

Hello all,

Apparently, Mr Lee has a problem. I haven't stated anything negative about
cs, I am a firm
believer in its ability to heal and to keep one healthy. I have experiences
with cs healing and
have stated them on this forum in the past (although, I am a relatively new
member). I and
my friends use cs on an ongoing basis. And, I certainly didn't mean to get
him upset

Mr Lee appears to be the type who loves to argue and fight, from reading the
tenor his posts.
I simply posted a medical link (seemingly a reasonable link) and questioned
(or should I say,
dared to question his somewhat irrational post).

Oh well.

Got to go, county folks are coming to check out potential fire ants on the
property.

Re: CSSome info please?

2002-05-03 Thread AVRA / Jason
Hi Gary,

http://www.hcrc.org/contrib/ramey/magnet.html

Here's a good overview article with references.

In the event you'd like to research it yourself further, here's a link with
some very solid resources:

http://www.angelfire.com/ct/halevi/magnets.html

However, I'd like to caution that very few researchers seem to have a handle
on what Becker was saying in his two ground-breaking works.

You know, back home growing up, I used to go to a chiropractor in my home
town that used a static electricity generator device. Ever seen one of
those? He would use his left hand on a machine with a circular disk
attached via an extending arm ( the left hand acting as the ground or
negative pole, same reason we shake right hands and not left ), he would
rotate the disk and thus generate a static field, then he would use his
first and forefinger on the right hand to feel the electrical field of the
body. Pretty interesting stuff. The principles, I'd bet, are the same. It
seems to me he could diagnose virtually anything, even colds, flues, and
infections.

The reason I'm much more cautious about electromagnetics than many, is that
when you deal with small amounts of energy, the standing waves that can be
created are a whole unexplored world. It's just like hypnosis cases gone
wrong; there is alot of this wonderful universe we just don't have a clue
with! I've seen ( what I hypothesize as ) standing waves generated by a
person literally blow lights out in a house; I've used a similiar technique
to render an individual unconscious by ( I theorize ) electromagnetic
hypnosis with the assistance of a bioelectric shield. My own personal
inquiries in the past have been subjective.

Having ( hopefully! ) piqued your curiosity, since this is a bit off topic,
I'll let the matter rest! The scope of the project that I hope to undertake
will be equal to the Colloidal Silver Database Website ( the layout which is
now about 2/3 done ), in that it falls within my personal objectives, the
study of extremely affordable methods and substances for personal growth and
healing.

 Jason,
Thank you for this post. I'd be interested in seeing this research.
 Where is it at?

As I've said here before, I'm a Chiropractor with a sound scientific
base to draw on. I didn't take the short-cut route when it came to my
pre-med studies either. I took the full courses in university AND an
additional year for mathematics and other things that interested me.
The real world has rules that can't be broken. However I accept that
there are some rules that haven't been discovered yet.

Also, when I graduated from High School I studied Aircraft Electronics
and made a living as a spark chaser for a few years. I understand
electronics a bit also but it's been over 20 years.

Both The Body Electric and Cross Currents, by Dr. Robert O. Becker (
available new and used at Amazon.com ) offer an emmense amount of food
  for
thought, all based on authentic scientific inquiry,

Yes, I read these books when I was in Chiropractic school and they
really piqued my curiosity but I didn't have any resources to follow up
on so it eventually got dropped. I really wanted AND still do want to
understand how I can use microcurrents to accelerate my patients healing.

  although I was greatly
displeased that Becker chose not include actual magnetic research in his
book. Careful study of his works can also steer one in a more correct
avenue of research, especially concerning electrical devices and the
  very
real risks involved in using experimental devices.

Except for his books, where else can I look for info on his work?

Thanks again for a really great post.

Very true! ...which is the same reason that most people are right-handed.

Besides, that's only a poor anthropoligists explanation made long before
right and left brain theory developed. I suppose men who kiss a woman's

Perhaps a seargant is afraid that his troops are going to shoot him during a

You'll note that in cultures that are far more civilized the single
handshake is not predominant; as well as highly developed spiritual
cultures. BOTH hands are employed. Left to left yields no energy.

None of this is coincidence; as Pythagoras once stated, nature geometrizes.
This includes human biology and even human psychology.

Try some left handed shakes... If you are perceptive, you'll see the
difference ( it is the same even with those, like myself, who are left
handed ).

However, I've been impressed with the real research I've seen -- enough to

Most people involved with magnetic devices, and even electrical devices like
Rife and Beck devices, don't have a handle on the science involved... All
of this stuff is an emerging science, and I haven't been impressed with the
POPULAR research, as it is not founded in a complete and basic model; the
research has not been done on a cellular level. Why one would practice a
cellular medicine without doing cellular research ( mainly I'm talking about
companies marketing products ) is beyond me.

The biomagnetic connection explains many mysteries that otherwise have
defied even plausible explanation, scientific or otherwise.

Both The Body Electric and Cross Currents, by Dr. Robert O. Becker (
available new and used at Amazon.com ) offer an emmense amount of food for
thought, all based on authentic scientific inquiry, although I was greatly
displeased that Becker chose not include actual magnetic research in his

avenue of research, especially concerning electrical devices and the very
real risks involved in using experimental devices.

We have heard here quite a few times of the benefits of dilute hydrogen

oxygenates the area, by both direct contact and diffusion, presumably.
If you consider virii and prions in addition to bacteria, it might be
reasonable to expect some benefit from the procedure.

I've tried it quite a few times and it seems to reduce the duration and

reduces congestion and sneezing from allergies. But of course that is

 Hi Beth ,

you were asking about silver, and dosages etc..
well if anyone offers you exact amounts, be
careful. I am rather new to CS, but recently
I spent almost 3 weeks researching the
subject -- I have learned quite a bit, and
I will suggest one site which I decided was
worth listening to, it can be found at ---

 http://silverdata.20m.com

I found it very comprehensive and very
 believable.

You also ask about silver's use for anxiety
and depression -- I can't see any benefit
that might result from the use of silver for
relief, but from my reading, I think I can say
that I can't see any harm either. there natural
substances that should relieve both problems.

consider using L-tryptophan -- it one of the 9
essential Amino acids. It will calm anxiety -
relieve depression, and when taken about bed
time, will really help you get to sleep.
It is not easy to find, but it can be ordered at:

I hope the above will help you.

Dear Jenn,

  You said:

use of L-Tryptophan, am I remembering correctly. This was back in the late
80's.

You recall correctly; however, that was from an adulterated batch.
No other problems of this type have been apparent.

I would caution people who are using, or have used SSRI or SNRI
(antidepressants) drugs to use tryptophan with caution. For those
currently using SSRIs, tryptophan increases the amount of intracellular
serotonin which could result in a toxic or paradoxical reaction. For those
who have previously taken SSRIs, taking tryptophan can overload the
serotonin transporter system, which in some cases has been structurally
altered, resulting in a paradoxical reaction (aggressiveness, altered sense
of reality, etc.)

As an aside, SSRIs and SSRIs are dangerous, creating long term
changes in the brain and altering a person's judgement. If anyone
wants more info, I'd be glad to point you in the right direction.
You can write to me off-list at ccr...@maine.rr.com.

I have the book, and have read it, and it is for the devoted Sitchin fan.
The full title is The Lost Book of Enki: Memoirs and Prophecies of an
Extraterrestial God.

I'm sure you recall all the the verses from the Sumerian/Akkadian clay
tablets, which Sitchin liberally sprinkles throughout his text to make his
point with these historical documents.

Well, this book is the entire written record recovered, with (I believe)
some blanks filled in by the good Dr. Sitchin to make better reading sense.

It is not an easy read, because it is written in the arcane verse style of
the period, but you get the flow of it after a while.

It doesn't present his conclusions, or his evidence, just the verse as Enki
had it inscribed 5,000 years ago. And for anyone to think that it is a
fable or myth, underestimates the written record.

2002-04-29 Thread Kevin Nolan
One cheap and easy method for delivery of CS to the sinus is to empty the
saline solution from one of those pump action nasal spray packs, and replace
with CS - use as for the saline solution; ie, snort it up the nose. Some
recommend 50:50 saline/CS, but that way only the minority colloid portion of
your silver will be effective.

 Hi, my name is Beth.

I recently ordered some colloidal silver and wondered if anyone here
uses it for sinus and/or allergy type of stuff. If so, how do you use it
and how much and all that?

I read about it being applied topically and drinking it and don't have a
clue about what to do. Do you sniff it or drink it or both? LOL I'm
assuming it comes with directions but would like some advice from
someone who uses it and how they use it most effectively.

Does it also help with depression and anxiety at all? I really know
almost nothing about it except that it supposedly helps with all kinds
 of things.

Is the theory that it helps if one has a deficiency of silver in their
system? And how do you know how much you need?

Sorry! I hate to ask ignorant quesions but I'm hoping your group can
 help me out. : )

 Thank you!

 Beth

Gary, it beats me. Perhaps the membrane is permeable, I don't know.
Many discussion groups have touted using hydrogen peroxide (3%) drops in the ear
to shortcut a cold or other virus.

I tried it, it works. So does CS!

It's been said that the ear canal is more of a breeding place than the nose.

THANK YOU to everyone for your excellent info!

Now I need to spend quite a bit of time looking through all the info and
taking the stuff and see what happens. I have always had sinus and
allergy problems and ANY improvement would be thrilling.

Aso, my boyfriend is having sinus surgery tomorrow and I'm pretty sure
that I can get him to try it too. He has suffered from extreme problems
for years...as well as having depression and anxiety which he believes
may have been aggrevated by not being able to breathe properly.

BTWto those of you still thinking about the ears thing..when
Jeff used hydrogen peroxide to clean out his ear wax he DID feel a lot
better (less sinus congestion) for a couple of days! Maybe the ears are
a key? I never thought about that before.

Well, if this stuff works, I will be SO excited!
I'm not sure if I feel competent enough to try making my own CS though.
Is it really easy?

Take care,

Beth

Re: CSSome info please?

2002-04-28 Thread CKing001
Hi Beth,
I'm not saying I'm glad you're sick, but at least you have something to work on,
and it'll show you that colloidal silver works.
If you have an infection, the CS needs to get in physical contact with it, so
your comment about sniffing is a good one. There is a lister that recommends
laying face up on a bed with the head hanging over the side, and inserting nose
drops of CS to get to the sinuses. Expect it to sting a bit.
Another way is to simply use the CS in the ears, because believe it or not, that
is the path for most infections.
I've used that method with great success!

Lots of us drink a daily dose as a preventative.
If you do this, then swish it around between your teeth and cheeks before
swallowing.
You willl find your breath to be better, your taste better (tongue coating
disappears), and plaque deposits won't build up on your teeth.

You will eventually want to make your own for about a dollar a gallon, rather
than buy it for $20 per ounce, as there are so many ways to use it.

Good luck with your experimenting...

Hi Beth ,

you were asking about silver, and dosages etc..
well if anyone offers you exact amounts, be

I can--indirectly. As far back as Spinoza, physical vitality has been
associated with phychological well-being, and the lack of it with
depression. Energy yields optimism. Systemic infections, including
chronic, sub-clinical ones, can express themselves as fatigue malaise.
Many people take CS daily, not against specific maladies, but because they
report feeling generally better; I attribute this to CS' eradicating
multifarious, inveterate, persistent, un-diagnosed infections that they
didn't know they had.
