Tim Barr also did the rough guide to techno book, though it wont cover much
that's not in Techno Rebels.
There's also Simon Reynolds Energy Flash. I haven't read it in decades and
though it covers some Detroit within, it drew ire from various folks as

as the cover contains a stock photo, which suggests the book might be a desktop
theoretical essay on Detroit music and background, without visiting town nor
speaking to artists. The book is limited to some

is as you have recommended it )
