Ok, so it says the monitor port gives you an x% split (from 1%-5%) of the light
on each wavelength. But what could I connect to the monitor port if I wanted
to be able to remotely track received signal level on each wavelength?

When people sell wavelengths as a service, how do you monitor that? Is
there something like a "managed" mux that lets you see light levels on each
wavelength?

I forgot to ask if this was indoors. Every link you’ve seen so far is an
outdoor case. They will work indoors just the same, and the DTC I believe has
a couple of mounting holes to screw it to a wall. DTC also has a snap on lid
which you could pry off while reaching through the ladder.

Yeah that’s the one I was thinking of. Though the LCC from your first link
would also take OSP cables. So maybe more versatile if we don’t know what kind
of cable we’re getting into.

Any dual slant omni is really just an array of sectors. You can see it in

I understand the appeal of that model, but I see drawbacks also.
The towns that need that kind of funding tend to be small and sparse. Nobody’s
built them already because they weren’t cost effective. Even if the fiber is
already there it has to be maintained and repaired so there’s ongoing
