Hi,
My SBT with TT3 and volume mod enabled sounds louder when played from
my NAS than from W7. Any idea how it is possible?

Try tt -x to turn it off temporarily and then tt -d to turn it on
permanently. Next reboot display should stay on until you type tt -x
again.

I noticed that flac files after RC filtering are smaller than before.
How do you explain that? Does it mean that there is a loss in
resolution? My guess: it is probably due to bass and treble rolloff in
the target curve.

This is the size of the file generated by the demo version of
audiolense, once converted to flac. It is more compressed with RC than
without.

Do you mean you had a time misalignment of the same magnitude as 1.6 ms
when the mic was not correctly oriented?

Another dummy question: there are several places to adjust recording
level in my setup: recorder rec gain, mixer main level, mixer Mic input
gain, mixer Mic input level. Where is the best place to ajust recording
level in order to avoid clipping but still minimise noise.

I have the following error message in Inguz log.txt: Write fault 232:

Does anyone have the same message? Any idea if this has an impact?
Music is playing but with bad sound though no clipping.

at a bargain price from logitech online store (bought one at
72euro; in Belgium) and allow to use Touch without screen like the
Duet. Good remote alternative is iPeng for Apple iOS devices or
SqueezeCommander for Android.

3) Buffersize 4000: similar to 3200 but with some loss of precision.
I will definitely stick to 3200 that better fits to my system and ears.

This makes justice to Klaus' logic of reducing buffersize to reduce
jitters and hence improve music fidelity. Next task for me is to figure
out if SBT default prios are the best for me. I can at least say that
they sound damn good on my system.
