I just wanted to note that this message got nailed by the same bug
that catches URLs on the first line of the message. The bug actually
has nothing to do with URLs. It's triggered when the first word on the
first line of the message ends with a ":". Notice how the
"Ammendment:" is in the middle

I am going through my network, which consists of a single 4006 at the core,
and some 14 2950's connected via gig fibre.
Picture this, I have 4 2950's on each floor (3 floors in my building, yes I
know that does not equal 14 switch's) each have a gbic fibre connection to
the 4006 core,
bove. It comes down to this: EIGRP will only do what you tell it
to do. Originally, you hadn't told it to do anything with the
172.16.x.x addresses. You have two options, but it looks like
redistribution will produce the results you're looking for.

In-band is when channel control signals are mixed with normal data i.e.
dialup.
Out-of-band is when a separate channel is used for link control information,
i.e. ISDN D-channel.

RIP V1 automatically summarizes. You can't employ V1 in a classless manner.
So any router running it that has the network in it's advertise list is
going to advertise the entire classful network. Good way to start a routing

I have two atm routers that are connected to a Cisco Lightstream 100 atm
switch. I am trying to cause r6 to call r9 but the call does not succeed. I
have configured svc routes on the switch and configured the two routers to
use svc to reach each other. Below you will find the necessary

only hop count?
The actual operation of EIGRP is DV. There are no LS components to
EIGRP.
