We are supposedly doing time-based release, so we don't care about
what features make it versus don't.
Yes. We agreed on time based release. I am failing to see what would extending

Ilya,
One very important note is that NTP is only used for Xen. For KVM and VMWare,
time sync is accomplished through kernel drivers/system daemons with NTP
configured in the hypervisor configuration. Therefore, this model would need
to be conditional based on the hypervisor type -- possibly
Sounds reasonable
So, anyways, I left them both in my patch file since I figured we could
resolve this later (obviously only the second "volumes" view is really
being used anyways).

If anybody has any NetApp-related questions, I may be able to help, so feel

I can see a use for that: that the secondary storage becomes read-only
during the maintenance (so no template creation/snapshots/etc). This
allows for stuff like migration to new (file server) hardware.

Hi All,
While voting is in progress for 4.1, can you take a look at the following
features which are still in open/resolved state.
If a story is in resolved state, can reporter review it and close it??
If a story is in open state( there are 4 in the below list) I would think it

+1 for zone-level NTP server setting. If not set, use the default one
(e.g., the ntpd package in Debian automatically use the ntp pool)

I agree with Chip, lets keep all discussion open, and we can create a [DISCUSS]
thread if need be.
I am currently working on a Flask based UI/API for cloud platforms

I forgot to mention, with option 1, you should have the least issues regardless
of what hypervisor technology you use - even if you go with HyperV :)
And I think Chiradeep is right, it should be Zone based, since this is when
SSVM and CPVM gets created.

I'm actually OK with delaying the release (as you pointed out, 4.1
