My theory in these cases is that it's nothing to do with bad antenna
connections, but more due to the rig putting out a higher harmonic content at
higher power levels. The SWR meter sees a bad SWR at the harmonic frequency so
the reading is slightly worse.

As aside found my new 22 inch dell did auto adjust.

Hi Pf,
I'm guessing a fairly high number of subscribers to this reflector recognize
the reference in your first sentence. I wonder what the actual percentage is.

I mentioned that a few days ago and on the list we were told that was to
be provided at a later update of the firmware. 73, tom n4zpt

Either K3 could dial close to the other with little issue. When we tuned
past the other station was just a strong station. I guess plenty of one
over r-squared isolation?

Otherwise very nice.

Hi Don and Bob,
One alternative is to put in a mod to the Heathkit amp.

I put one of the soft key mods into my SB-200. Easy to put in and works
nicely.

That's great news Paul. I will certainly get that kit and mod my K3.

I connected mine to a 1 amp fuse position in my power pole strip.
Am going to look around for or build a power pole strip controlled by
the position where I plug in to power my K3. That way the peripherals
come on when I power up the K3. For the moment, just pushing the power
button.

Thanks Mike, You were right on. My K3 is new and I was doing a lot
of playing around with it and somehow managed to get things out of
whack. I shut everything down and rebooted and all is well.

It is not changing when going to VFO B. I stay on VFO A and am
getting the alternating BW .25 and BW.50 where the VFO B readout is.

While in RTTY (Data A) I have hte DUAL PB turned on. I am seeing
where VFO B is an alternating BW .25 and BW .50 and then the VFO B
frequency. As BW changes from .25 to .50 the twin band width
indicators change accordingly.
Is this normal?
