You need to run TSA when you have a normal load on the server. It wants
to look at the IO latency being experienced on the drives while under
load.

unsupported.
To be supported you must put TWO virtual servers in the local VMWare
farm and exclude them from HA and have a third at your disaster recovery
site.

I looked at this in great detail. To be honest if you are a small
organisation then it probably doesn't make much difference, but for many
organisations the improvements in i/o performance alone make it a
"no-brainer"...

You kind of half understood. The joy of power shell is that most command
take collections from other commands as inputs. So if you can do
something for one user, if you can do it for any collection of users
that you can find.

I have SEA but I have not installed it yet. I am concerned the SEA
product will be dropped for a new combined Sunbelt/GFI product.

Today ALL MAIL to secure addresses goes via the secure pipe. In future,
e-mail from "insecure" addresses needs to go via the Public Internet.

John,
We now send all mail to secure addresses to a mailsweeper box , which
then does source address based routing. We are still on a mixture of
Exchange 2003/2007 which also makes things interesting. I think if we
were pure 2010 you could set up transport rules, but we are not...

If there are a "limited number of users" why isn't it practical to buy
more storage space for them? If they have large amounts of data then
uploading to the external site may well prove tedious. ...

Surely the service packs can't be applied to parts of Exchange?
