Lou,
I don't think that you have your FireWire working correctly. Be sure
that the FW driver is communicating with the radio through the FW HW.
If you are running XP, make sure that you have HotFix 955408 installed
and working..Power Down the radio before and after trying to flash
I've used N1MM Log for the past year or so, Cat , Telnet and Winkey
all have worked fine from the Start.. Here's the problem I'm having,
If I use Split on my F5K all the micros in N1MM change to the wav as
if in SSB . I'm in split at this time and N1MM logger is showing

Try using the K3 as the interface instead of TS2000 and run N1MM through DDUTIL
into the F5K
When we were setting up SO2R we had some trouble with the TS2000 interface. We
also had trouble with the K3 interface but But K5FR was able to filter things
in DDUTIL in such a way as to make it
Lee Thanks, I changed to K3 and I have been using N1MM through
DDutil.. This didn't solve my problem, What did fix it was under
configure and Mode control . I set to ( use contest or radio mode )
All is good

What gives? I shut down PowerSDR a little while ago and turned off the

audio or any sort of waveform in the panadapter. I tried uninstalling a

Does the driver see your radio? Also, make sure its not in demo mode (it
happens when you don't have your radio connected and you accidently press
Yes in the dialog box. After that, it doesn't even look for the radio, it
stays in demo mode!

Never mind, I got it back. I don't know what the problem was. I just
deleted and reloaded the flex driver and the Power SDR a second time as
well and now everything seems normal.

Closing PowerSDR and power cycling the radio usually cures this.
Windows likes to forget about the flex driver at times while PowerSDR is
not running. I usually shut the radio off count to ten and restart the
radio and wait to hear the windows notification sounds then start
PowerSDR.
I have been running the PB_PAL alpha software and decided to revert to the
newly released 1.18.5 on my Win 7 64 bit system. Prior to running PB_PAL I
ran 1.18.3 with no problem.
I am currently using FW driver 7171 and have firmware 1.2.5.6 loaded in the
Flex-3000.
