Some users have had luck in getting it to work however.
Although I am unable to assist you with this. You may want to search the

We have only testing HPLIP with HP JetDirect boxes. Other vendors' boxes
may work flawlessly or may have various problems. I think you should be
able to get any box to print, but other items like scanning, faxing,
status, ink levels, etc. may not be supported.

Victor, just for future reference the lineart issue is issue 1160. The
engineer hasn't had a chance to resolve this as of yet, but it is in our
defect tracking system and being reviewed. I'm sorry to report that I
don't have any sort of resolution ETA for you.

disable SELinux, run /etc/init.d/hplip restart delete your

support Mac. You may want to consider checking HP's website for

Can you run hp-check and post the output? Have you tried using hp-setup
to configure the printer?
