They may fall but at the end of the day the cost of materials is going the

It is solid steel dead centres for the reason. They do not need to be a Live
Centre because they are only rotating at fairly slow speeds.
If you put a 2MT tail stock on then it has a cost addition plus you need a
decent quality Live Centre and that will end up costing $80 to $100.00.
