Ho deciso di ricompilare il kernel spinto dalla volonta' di ottimizzarlo
al meglio per il mio
PC (un Athlon su una Asus A7V con chipset via KT133) dato che il kernel
default di mandrake (2.4.8-26) include modularmente supporti che per me
sarebbero meglio nativi e mi configura il

da dove hai recuperato i sorgenti per ricompilare il Kernel (suppongo di mdk
8.1)? Pensavo non fossero disponibili, non avendoli trovati in /usr/src;
sono in un pacchetto della distribuzione?

Yes, it has to be a permissions issue. Here's one thing that has gotten me
in the past. Make sure that the directory (and ones above it) for
grafitti.dat have the same permissions and are owned and grouped exactly as

What are the read / write permissions on /tmp?
