Da KDE faccio partire KPPP, ho cambiato la porta da /dev/modem a /dev/ttyS0
ho impostato la stringa di chiamata con ATX3DT
ho provato a modificare le altre impostazioni
Parto con l'installazione di Mandrake 9.1, faccio le mie varie
configurazioni... HD, tastiera, mouse, bla bla... ad un certo punto si
impalla per colpa del cdrom (è un pò vecchiotto) allora resetto,
spengo, lo stacco e ne monto un altro che mi sono appena procurato.

start xchat it'd place the window half way off the top of the screen (so i couldn't
grab the titlebar) making it (i thought) unusable unless i switched to iceWM which

automatically connected to my ISP on boot. Now I am using
that computer as a backup, and don't want it normally

Mine's a Canon BJC 250.
The fix is to edit /etc/pnm2ppa.conf and set the version parameter for your

If there are drives attached to the the RAID controller, in this case
