Thanks very much for answering. I tried to install SrvPowerCtrl with the extension downloader. After this, i could see the Plugin at the squeezecenter desktop . Then I´ve activated it. After this, it becomes a message, the squeezecenter must reboot. But after Reboot, the Plug was deactivated::

So I've gone back to the latest Squeeze Center 7.4.1 So far things are working but not SvrPowerControl (v20091110.223903). I'm getting "Plugin failed to load". I have been manually installing by unziping the files into the Plugin directory. Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this? Thanks --

The folder C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\InstalledPlugins is empty. Maybe when I uninstalled SC7.3 and opted not to keep the preferences it cleaned out that folder. I would be more than happy to manually uninstall and use the extension downloader. Are there instructions on how to do a manual

FYI: the NIS installer for SCPowerTool at http://srvrpowerctrl.googlecode.com/files/SCPowerTool_latest.exe installs the utilities to C:\Windows\system32 by default. I just observed that the installer failed to actually install the files there on a Windows 7 64b system. The installer claimed that

It doesn't need to be automatic on default shutdown though would be nice. I'm quite prepared to have an extra shortcut on desktop. I figure that clicking the hibernate to sn, it passes some extra variables so thought it would be as simple as making a bat file to that effect. -- trouty00 ---

Officially Energy Saver should only put the Mac to sleep if there is no keyboard activity, no mouse activity, and no hard drive activity. I am not sure if it sometimes fails to behave properly if there is no hard drive activity. On my system something prevents Energy Saver putting the machine to

Same problem here on Leopard. Energy saver settings ignore usb connected hard drive activity and still shut the server down, I just removed sleep mode from energy saver, activate manually. But my use case is Mac Mini dedicated to Squeeze and ripping tasks, so its easy. Dave -- DaveWr --
