a subdirectory of "Program Files". Yes, I know I can do this if I modify
the command strings.

The log suggests a problem to me, though what is odd is that, if
anything, the one that does work is the one I would expect not to work
and vice versa.

sbs seems very flaky now with songs stopping and "problem connecting to
file" errors. Server Power Control doesn't work too well either but I

That seems to have messed things up - I'm using v20091110.223903 and now
the plug-in settings page comes up completely blank. Maybe I deleted
something with a manual install.

after 48 hours +, I uninstalled 7.4 switched back to SqueezeCentre
version 7.3.4 - 28402. My SB3 asked me to update the firmware but I
suspect it was asking to revert back to be compatible. I did the update

Welcome indeed. Haven't had an issue since I reverted to 7.3.4,
everything just works.
I'll probably revisit new versions once they've addressed all issues -
my family and I refuse to be an involuntary beta testers.

After this, i could see the Plugin at the squeezecenter desktop .
Then I´ve activated it. After this, it becomes a message, the
squeezecenter must reboot.

So I've gone back to the latest Squeeze Center 7.4.1 So far things are
working but not SvrPowerControl (v20091110.223903). I'm getting "Plugin
failed to load". I have been manually installing by unziping the files
into the Plugin directory. Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this?

Maybe when I uninstalled SC7.3 and opted not to keep the preferences it
cleaned out that folder.

alarm. I set the server to wake-up 5 minutes before the alarm starts,
checked that the SCPowerTool works (which it works fine for waking-up
through cmd from hibernate and standby modes). The server does however

I'm trying to create a batch file to hibernate to SN with a view that
eventually i will replace the start menu buttons (will have to do more
research on this but guess its possible) so that any time the SC server
is shutdown/hibernated it will go to squeezenetwork.

It doesn't need to be automatic on default shutdown though would be
nice. I'm quite prepared to have an extra shortcut on desktop. I figure
that clicking the hibernate to sn, it passes some extra variables so
thought it would be as simple as making a bat file to that effect.

I've tried every possible search combination I can think of in this
thread, but can't seem to find the answer to this:
Under OS X (Leopard), if I send a WOL packet from the SB3 to wake the
server (running on the Mac), it works OK. But the Mac goes to sleep - as
per my energy saver settings - afte
Officially Energy Saver should only put the Mac to sleep if there is no
keyboard activity, no mouse activity, and no hard drive activity.
I am not sure if it sometimes fails to behave properly if there is no
hard drive activity.

connected hard drive activity and still shut the server down, I just
removed sleep mode from energy saver, activate manually. But my use
case is Mac Mini dedicated to Squeeze and ripping tasks, so its easy.

What do you guys think: should the 'on-idle' and 'not-idle' stuff be
broken out of SrvrPowerCtrl and put into a separate plugin...something
along the lines of the PreventStandby plugin for Windows? SrvrPowerCtrl
has always been about trying to control power states on a headless,
dedicated SBS ser

i'm suffering from the inability to wake up my server from hibernate
again; the newest server and serverpowercontrol are installed. do you
have any idea of what the problem could be or how i can get the log for
this issue.
