I found that walking or running in my swimming pool seems to help. Jumping up and down in the water makes acid reflux worse. The pressure of the water pushes my stomach up the wrong way. With acid reflux I need to get the stomach down, a rebounder is a better choice. I was told in the 1960's

I would advise you get to a Dr. to have that checked. It may just be a sprain, but if you tore the bursa sac then it will not heal like a sprain, but will continue to swell and hurt. The only way to check for a bursa sac rupture is with an x-ray at least to my knowledge and the usual procedure
