Hola me respondo yo a mi mismo tras una búsqueda más exhaustiva en Google Play. Encontré la app GPS Averaging [1] que ha conseguido pasarme de 3m a 0,6m de precisión tras mediar 24 puntos (mi móvil usa GPS y GLONASS) Supongo que, al menos al aire libre, esto me permitirá tener POIs más precisos
