network admins probably would not want to increase the limit on the LDAP
server because of performance. However, there is always another way...
Although you are limited to 500 records from LDAP you are not limited

The problem is that when using the ARDBC plugin to LDAP, I can't select any additional fields. Only one field appears in the results list drop down, the RequestID field. I talked to Remedy and they say to submit an enhancement request.

- I am well aware of the problem you are talking about... It is a bug.
I am guessing all the fields in your vendor form have an Input Length: of 0
and a QBE Match: of anywhere except Request ID, which is set to 15. Now, if
you change the Input Length to anything greater then 0 and save the form

had a blank password - had to stop the service and edit the \CONF\ar.cfg file
removing all AREA-LDAP- entries, or as Joe says, simply change the
Crossref-Blank-Password: from "T" to "F" then

I have tested connectivity with LDP.exe first with the provided LDAP
hostname and bind username/password.
With this all information i am able to connect and bind successfully.

and not a MS Exchange server, since that is what the sAMAccountName is used
for. I used the following settings to make the ARDBC LDAP connection:
