I recommend you work through our free tutorial on kriging with trend. It
discusses Universal Kriging rather the IRF-K but I think it will answer your
question better than I can do in a short email.
Yes you can annihilate the trend by making the weighted average of the trend
polynomials (what have they
done wrong? ;-) )

Dear all
In generating simulation, e.g. sequential Gaussian simulation the first step is
to define a random path through all grid nodes as each point visited only once.
My question is why it is said define if it is a random path???
I would appreciate you if let me know your opinion about that.

Can any one in the list help me explain the drawbacks of using correlogram for

In other words, what are the advantages of using variogram models instead of

Subject: AI-GEOSTATS: gslib source code?
Hi,
Today i was looking for the source code of gslib and it seems to have
vanished from the stanford website.
AFAIK it used to be available on this url:

Now all i can find
Hi List,
I have generated several tens of realisations (in Gaussian space using
a Normals Scores transform) of 5 variables using joint multivariate
collocated sequential gaussian simulation. I am able to validate this
simulation by comparing the input data (drillhole composites) to the
output
