MidTier 7.0.01/Patch 7 - CRS XI/R2 - Crystal Concurrent License Usage

We have used Crystal with Remedy for years now but are new to Crystal Reports Server and the Midtier. We have Crystal Reports Server XI/R2 installed on a separate server from the MidTier 7.0.01/Patch 7. We bought 5 concurrent (not named) Crystal Licenses. What we have noticed is that if only

Hi everyone... I need to understand how mid-tier ( 5.1.2 or 7.x ) manages license with webservices. For exemple. I have 100 users ( floating ) consuming remedy webservices and they need to change tickets. Will the Remedy Server hold the user licences waiting the time-out or the webservices

Hi Mario From experience for version earlier than 7.x (not quite sure for version 7.x yet), Remedy server will hold the user licences waiting the time-out if user did not log out. Webservice will not performs the logout after send the response straight away if user did not logout themselves.

Tracking ITSM 7.x Application license usage

Hey guys, Apart from the Admin tool and the Admin console, is there a way to keep track of the Application license usage within iTSM 7? I'm looking for something similar to what the Server Statistics form offers for AR licenses. Thanks. George

Hi, ITSM 7 applications are deployable application. You can enable Application Statistics for these application. Then in the same way of the server statistics, you can track the ITSM application license usage in the Application Stratistics form. Cheers, Vincent

This may have little or no bearing, just an observation. This is what BMC used to do on the supportweb site. Every time you logged in, you were logging in as ARWebUser, not your id; this was evident by the user parameter in the url. I do not know if this is still the case since I no longer use
