I know a lot of higher end amps have no tone controls but I find myself
partial to them. I like to crank the treble and bass up on my Rotel
RA02 integrated amp.
This means I'm a little reluctant to upgrade to a more expensive amp
because I fear the lack of tone controls will somehow let me down.
I'm quite keen to here people answers on this, was having a chat the
other day with the owner of an audio shop. I have an old technics
equaliser that i've been forced to stop using as due to rubbish ribbon
power connecters that meant I had to have the radio unit turned on to
use it. I prefer the

Ok, have had a shiny new Transporter up and running for all of 8 hours
and am very happy with sound quality and most aspects of the interface
(server could be better, but hey...)
However, have to say that behaviour of FF/RWD is at best useless, and
IS a very annoying issue in my opinion.

adjustment, wouldn't the best solution be to rip the CD, use an audio
editor to make those tone adjustments, and then either burn them back
