of Lake Simcoe. Bathurst Street runs uninterrupted from Lake Ontario all the
way up to Newmarket but then ends a few kms north of Green Lane. To access

feeders. Should note that - although we did not see it today - Joan had a
Northern Flicker there on Wednesday.

Canada Geese at Soldier's Bay (north side of Queensville Sdrd.) and, at the

Balsam Lake is just southeast of the Carden Alvar on the western shoulder of
Hwy. 35 about 20 minutes north of Lindsay. Our campfires were on the southeast
shore (Sandy Beach
circles to allow excellent views near the beautiful Eaton chateau, and a
rich brown female (or juvenile) NORTHERN HARRIER struggling with a large kill
(muskrat? rabbit?) along the north shore of the lake.
