All I have on my Pismo is OS X v.10.2.3, no OS 9 at all. I just
upgraded the RAM and hard drive to 768MB/40GB 5400rpm but I had been
running a 400MHz/320MB/10GB for about a year and it has been very well,
I can't stand to work in 9 on it so I just took it off. 10.2 is very
snappy for me.
All the PowerBooks since the Wallstreet have the features of the
RoadRocket built in, so it became pointless to add a Cardbus video card.

They did officially say it by updating their specs that are available
to the public. Had they shipped one with one set of specs and then
changed it that would be a different matter. But they constantly revise
their documentation and their hardware. Look at all the revisions of

The 15 PowerBook can do 1x when unplugged, the drive does not get
enough power to do 2x and actually completely burn a DVD, that is why
PC laptops with DVD-RWs are 2x but can only burn when plugged in. Now
the question is can Apple's PowerBooks burn at 2x when plugged in? Or
is it 1x always?
Oh, and can you send me the PDF from the day they come out, I am trying
to compile some info.
Thanks,

There is a check box in the AirPort setup/admin/whatever its called
utility to tell it if you want it to bridge the ethernet and the
wireless networks. Do you have that checked? That would be the easiest
fix so I would check that first. There may be bridging settings on
the Netgear router but
Jim, he means hooked as in connected to the network wirelessly through

There are several USB 2.0 cards that do work in OS X ... PCI cards that

not be terribly surprised to find drivers outside of the company that

Where did you get that info? If it is the case I would like to know
about it, and if its not I would also like to know, but I have never
heard anything to lead me to believe that Pismo FW ports are not true
400Mbps ports.
