service most likely though if you knowingly let them share it. There
is nothing that could get you arrested though.
Expand your horizons a bit and consider what would truly be the worst
case scenario, IMHO.

When I saw your post, I went to my Linksys BEFSR41 Router, v.3; firmware
version 1.05.00 and checked under the Security tab.
I found the following choices and their settings:
Block Anonymous
Drive around the neighborhood, park your car, open your laptop with
broadband wireless adapter and presto you are connected online.
Chances are you will have more than one signal within that area. You
are not stealing a signal because you are not intruding to someone
else's property.
If those published stats hold up to real world comparisons, that's
one helluva impressive laptop.

Don't know if I responded before, but my recommendation would be the free or
donorware Cyberduck, available at the usual sites, Versiontracker, etc.
It has served me very well know for several months.
FYI, Over the period of two years, I had 2 Linksys cable/dsl routers. Both

Have downloaded the latest update to DW and a created a new CD with that
version: 3.0.3.
It will start my G5 iMac running 10.4.2 and repair it just fine.
However, when I try to start my G3 Dual-USB iBook with this same CD, it
will not work. I can hear the CD drive grinding away, but

Pop in my DiskWarrior CD v 3.0.2, restart while holding down the Command
+ C keys and after much churning, it ignores the CD in the drive and starts
from the HD.
However, when I go to Startup Disk in System Prefs and choose the DW

Pop in my DiskWarrior CD v 3.0.2,
I saw a noticeable improvement in speed on my Pismo as I upgraded
drives from the original to the current 7200 rpm travelstar. At least
one intermediate between the original and current, maybe more. You
should see the same unless bus speed is a factor?

No. that's why I switched to SuperDuper! recently and I actually like
it a lot better.
I believe this is incorrect. With the latest upgrade to Tiger, 10.4.2,
CCC now works just fine. It does for me and it didn't with previous
iterations of Tiger.
Are you able to synch (update) an already cloned drive or are you
erasing and cloning from scratch each time?
Don't know the answer to the firs part of that sentence.
Each time I backup, I backup my entire hard drive, erasing the old clone

Unless Adobe has an uninstaller, you'll have to go into
~/Library/Preferences and delete the prefs manually.
Try trashing the prefs first, that could well solve the launching
problem.

Well...think I found the answer to my own question, so I'll note what it

I tried another freeware app for waking up Macs on a network.
