In linuxconf you setup your ip and your DNS,etc... also you checked
DHCP and you get an error, what's happening is that dhcp-client
is not istalled. Try this as root on the console:
modprobe dhcp-client (i think that's right)

just a little question... err in my /usr/src dir I have nothing else
except a /RPM dir... shouldnt it have a /linux dir that contained kernel??
that's weird... can it be in somewhere else? or hidden...?

anyone having set up a firewall that allows users on the inside network to

set up the proxie settings in my wife winblows box for AIM I get
Xconfigurator??? there is no Xconfigurator... at least "unknown command"
