After upgrading kernel to 2.4.2 on LM7.2 I got the following problem:
Dialup doesn't work anymore
Modem dials number without any problems, but after connection is established
pppd daemon dieds saying that kernel doesn't support ppp or cann't load
module, but I know for 100% that ppp
How do i connect one computer with MD 7.2 and one with win98?
at the momment windows is on an ipx network? will this complicate things?
please keep this simple. because any howto i find complicated.

With your lan card you should have gotten a utility disk.
On that disk are two important programs (assuming that you are using a
10base2/10baseT card).
The first program sets up the hardware on the lan card. It allocates
IRQ's/IO, etc and permits you to test the settings.

you should have Drake config installed. At least I do but I not running
linux4Windows. Run drake config (go into) - "linix config - system
configutartion" - file systems - access local drive. From there you
