yeah, I had slack 8.1 running on it too. I didn't try to set X up on

try mandrake adn during the text install I thought what the heck, see
what it'll do. So after reboot, when X

get X going with icewm on it and use a few apps. I was thinking

I have put in a GeForce4 MX 440-SE (PCI) and it seems to be working fine
now.

I just upgraded my video card to a new PNY PCI GeForce4 MX 440-SE, from my
previous of a Radeon 7000. Unfortunately, I am still having a problem
getting XWindows to work for Mandrake 9.0. I tried installing the I32
nVidia driver rpm binaries (both the GLX and the kernel) for Mandrake

automaticaly recognized by mandrake (in the hardware
list I can see the chip, with module:unknown). I wrote
