The only thing that I know is that the XP Firewall should be
disabled when using a third party firewall. Both together invariably
causes problems.
Also if you have zone alarm and it gets damaged by a virus, you may

You shouldn't have to exclude the temp file from scanning when using
NOD32. I don't and have no problems. It's likely to be the fact that
you configured it to prompt for action.
I set all my customers up as clean if possible and if not quarantine.

email seems to momentarily slow it down to a
crawl.
Shouldnt unless your download east resources need for other things.
ie how much ram left, hard disk space, anti virus reunning etc etc.

to the number of apps
running at the time - it fitted on one row of the taskbar so I wasn't
bothered.
Arent all these tasks a bit much for a lousy OS like windows???(g)
I myself am very happey to have moved to 2000, It does allow shutdowns
much easier and crashes much less.
