Interesting articles and video footage. I'm not sure I would call them
experienced as they didn't seem to be caving with helmets. Even in a
cave like Airmans, I assume you can bang your head and bleed all over
the cave. So, they were probably fairly inexperienced and didn't know

Actually, many relatively small to large cities have 2 foot contour
interval maps of their area to assist with planning, zoning, storm water
management, etc. On a local level, some cities do use them to map the
floodplain to within the two foot contour interval and some folks have
told me
back on Sunday.
THe property is located about 3 hours from San Antonio.
The obective is to take some photographs in the cave and enjoy the weekend.

When I was going to school at West Virginia University back in the late
70's, Greg Adamson. and I went to check out a particular nasty crawl he

This is actually one of the few cases where the use of string in a cave
can come in handy, assuming you're not a cave diver when string (dive
line) is always handy. String is sometime used in surface searches to
try and contain someone that is actually wondering around lost in the
