The point of this thread is to get async USB working so that an ASYNC

You want to see
of advice on Kitz for setting on
Vista; I haven't followed that yet (ain't broken now so why fix it)...
The best fix for Vista is to replace it with Win7 - fast, stable and
above all reliable.

yeah - you are having the problem ONLY with HDTracks? - this is a
well-known problem with HDTracks encoding of FLAC files. They do
something really weird to their FLAC files...

Whatever your problem is, it is unusual/rare and almost certainly
something to do with your Windows setup/machine. Do you get this
problem with EVERY long hi-res file you play?

posts by Logitech. The hardware does not
have the correct clock hardware circuit to play 176.4 by the way
(although in theory it could do 192).
If you can't do realtime transcoding of 192 to 96 because your server
is underpowered, just transcode them off-line via SOX.

is just... wrong. Easily proven by turning off wireless security...

cuesheets are not useful in the context of streaming.

fail to load when you come to actually need one years later...
Cuesheets are an anachronism. They were useful in the dim and distant
past when burning CDR's was the only cost effective backup mechanism
and when gapless playback was tricky. Neither of these is now true.

Install foobar 2k. Open wv.cue file in Foobar and convert wv file to

If you are connected to a local server, the time is taken from that

Correct: the Classic does not store the time...
what operating system do you have on the server - and is the timezone
set correctly on that server?

no - there will be no loss of quality moving back and forwards between
