You need to read the setup guide that comes with installation
concerning multi user setup. I think you'll find that you have not
done a multi user setup (or alternatively you've not done the user
part of the install).

yes, I still have this problems, I just tried it with 1.9.104 and I can't add
a generic printer, it's gray, I can just add a pdf printer and a fax - with
openoffice 1.14 it works - but even if i uninstall openoffice 1.1.4, i can't
add a generic printer in 1.9.104.
Any ideas?
