Remember that iTunes Match has a minimum bit rate requirement before Match will
upload your files. If it is below 128 KBPS I believe Match won’t upload it.

sure that even if the content isn't in the iTunes store, the copy saved in
iCloud and put on your other devices will also be 256 KBPS AAC
