Re: CSdental mercury

2006-02-16 Thread Debbie Mcdonald
I shudder every time I see the amalgam issue talked
about and people dont bother to join an amalgam
specific list and learn more. I've read alot and still
have my amalgams
The point is, each person is different. The main
problem does not have to be exposure from removal, it
is that the body has learned to live being exposed to
merc. After removal, there is a time frame after which
the body realizes it is no longer being poisoned and
then the body will start dumping the body stores of
mercury from all over. That is where many people that
think they were better start getting much worse, and
this can take you all the way down with no way back
for some. My case has the added down side that I have
dysbiosis(leaky gut) and that is a definate problem
for dealing with body stores. Just check it out before
you go too far too fast. Hope I said it all correctly.

CS***Infectious Disease Labs in New Orleans and surrounding areas

2005-09-11 Thread Debbie Mcdonald
 http://www.thememoryblog.org/archives/000588.html

Infectious Disease Research in and Around New
 Orleans
Summary: At the very least, there are two Level-3
biolabs in New Orleans and a cluster of three in
nearby Covington. They have been working with
anthrax, mousepox, HIV, plague, etc. There are
surely other labs in the city.

Here's a great tip for all reporters looking for a
completely new - and extremely important - angle on
the situation in New Orleans. As far as I can tell,
no one has yet mentioned the biological research
labs located in and around NOLA. For example, in
nearby Covington, Tulane University runs the Tulane
National Primate Research Center, a cluster of
Level-3 biological labs containing around 5,000
monkeys, most of which are housed in outdoor cages.
According to an article in Tulane University
Magazine, The primary areas of focus today at the
Tulane National Primate Research Center are
 infectious diseases, including biodefense related
work, gene therapy, reproductive biology and
neuroscience. The Tulane primate center is playing a
key role in the federal strategic plan for
biodefense research. [Google cache | Memory Hole
 mirror.]

So what happened to these diseased monkeys living
outside in cages? Granted, Covington didn't get hit
nearly as hard as NOLA, but it still got hit.

According to the Sunshine Project, which digs up
grant proposals and other primary documents from the
US biowarfare effort, Tulane scientists are working
with anthrax, plague, and other biological weapons
 agents. [read more]

And how much of this kind of research was going on
within New Orleans itself? Apparently quite a bit.

-- Louisiana State University's Medical School has a
Level-3 biolab in the Clinical Sciences Research
Building located at 533 Bolivar Street. According to
grant applications, LSU's facility was the site of
 research involving anthrax and
 genetically-engineered mousepox. And that's just
 what we know about.

-- The State of Louisiana has a Level-3 biolab in
New Orleans. [see this PDF document]

-- It seems highly likely that an institution the
size of Tulane has biolabs in New Orleans itself,
 not just Covington.

-- Then there's the University of New Orleans,
Loyola University, Xavier University of Lousiana,
and others. I don't know whether they've been
engaged in bioresearch or have high-level biolabs,
but it'd be worth finding out.

-- And let's not forget the New Orleans Medical
Complex, which contains over 40 blocks of hospitals
and biomedical research facilities. According to
this website, it's been severely flooded.

So with all the known and probable Level-3 biolabs
in and around New Orleans, what's happened to the
infected animals? Are they free and roaming? Are
they dead, with their diseased bodies floating in
the flood waters? And what about the cultures and
vials of the diseases? Are they still secure? Are
they being stolen? Were they washed away, now
forming part of the toxic soup that coats the city?

And take a look at this. The Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC) has a Select Agents
Program for any facility that handles highly
dangerous germs, including Ebola, Marburg, ricin,
avian flu, and anthrax. At the top of their website
 is the following notice:
 --
Announcement for Entities Impacted by Hurricane
 Katrina

Entities that are registered with the Select Agent
Program who have been impacted by Hurricane Katrina
may contact the CDC Select Agent Program for
guidance on actions that should be taken to transfer
Select Agents to another registered entity or report
the theft, loss, or release of select agents that
might have occurred due to storm damage. The CDC
Select Agent Program will expedite any special
requests from registered entities as a result of
Hurricane Katrina. Contact the Program via email at
lr...@cdc.gov, phone at 404-498-2255, fax at
404-498-2265, or call your designated CDC
 representative.
 --
 You can see it here.

I encourage journalists to pursue these worthwhile
questions. Edward Hammond of the Sunshine Project
helped greatly with this post, and if reporters
would like some more background on this, they should
 contact him here.

CS***Study conclusion that Gymnema acts by increasing cell permeabiliy plus increasing insulin secretion

2005-06-13 Thread Debbie Mcdonald

snip

Examination of islet and beta-cell integrity
after exposure to GS4, by trypan blue exclusion,
indicated that concentrations of GS4 that stimulated
insulin secretion also caused increased uptake of dye.
Two gymnemic acid-enriched fractions of GS4, obtained
by size exclusion and silica gel chromatography, also
caused increases in insulin secretion concomitant with
increased trypan blue uptake. These results confirm
the stimulatory effects of G. sylvestre on insulin
release, but indicate that GS4 acts by increasing cell
permeability, rather than by stimulating exocytosis by
regulated pathways.

And what this says is that gymnema increases the
release of insulin from the pancreas, and the
mechanism is increasing cell permeability and
making
it leaky to the insulin comes out more readily.
This
is very different that increasing insulin
sensitivity (responsiveness) at the cell level in
the peripheral tissues. Releasing more insulin
actuallly worsens hyperinsulinemia, which in turn
may lower blood sugar but at the expense of
insulinemic damage throughout the system.

RELIGIOUS USE OF MERCURY ENDANGERING LATINO AND CARIBBEAN
COMMUNITIES

While mercury contamination caused by coal-fired power plants
continues to make headlines, government agencies have glossed
over an even more direct form of mercury poisoning.

Dr. Arnold P. Wendorff, director of the New York-based Mercury
Poisoning Project, has urged both the Environmental Protection
Agency (EPA) and the New York State and City health departments
to address the religious use of mercury in Latino communities in
New York City.

But despite his 15-year campaign, Dr. Wendorff told
BushGreenwatch that the government agencies have yet to
substantively address the issue.

In many Latino and Caribbean communities, mercury has long been
used in religious ceremonies associated with the Voodoo,
Santeria, Espiritismo and Palo traditions of Caribbean origin.
During these ceremonies, mercury, called azogue by
practitioners, is sprinkled around the home, sometimes near a
child's crib, or outside the front door of an apartment. The
idea is to repel evil spirits.

Some 47,000 capsules of mercury are sold each year in local
stores-- called botanicas -- scattered throughout the Bronx.
Such widespread distribution could contaminate up to 13,000
homes.

A survey of 203 adult residents of New York City found that 44
percent of Caribbean respondents, and 27 percent of Latin
American respondents reported having used mercury in
magico-religious ceremonies.

Following a ceremony, mercury vapor can remain in households for
years, with severely harmful health consequences. A mere .7
grams of mercury can emit substantial levels of mercury vapor
for over 15 years-- and these ceremonies often use up to 10
grams of mercury. [1]

Inhalation of mercury vapor is one of the most direct means of
exposure, as the human body absorbs 80% of mercury inhaled. [2]
Even residents who do not practice these ceremonies may suffer
health consequences; mercury vapor can permeate cracks in floors
and escape into hallways.

Frustrated over the lack of response from the EPA and the New
York City Health Department, Dr. Wendorff filed a new complaint
with the EPA's Office of the Inspector General on February 7th,
but the Agency has yet to respond.

The EPA and New York State and City health departments, however,
are not the only branches of government to brush off the issue.

Wendorff has lobbied several members of Congress. He says they
were initially receptive to his pleas, but became discouraged
upon recognizing the complexity of the problem.

CS***Purity of .9999 silver/Hauser and Miller?

2005-01-20 Thread Debbie Mcdonald
I had written Marshall last week and one of my questions was about the silver I
bought in 1998 from an outifit then recommended on this list that I no longer
see recommended here so I wondered if it was found that their silver was not
really ok?? It was from Hauser and Miller. I am mercury toxic so this is really
important to me, any other metals than silver. I did not get an answer from him
so maybe those filters. I am on bushgreenwatch so I bet I am on some spy
lists:)

CS***Rheumatoid arthritis or Lupus/MSM?

2004-12-08 Thread Debbie Mcdonald
I wanted to run something by you and runs with this thread. My husband has
heart disease, had stents, saw an alt doc, takes supps, didn't do what he was
told all the way. Plavix is one of his drugs, Coreg too. He developed worsening
arthritis symptoms in all major joints, especially one knee, one knuckle,
wrists. Lump developed on his shoulder a couple inches up from his joint, went
partially back down. Getting MRI. His uric acid was high, has that history.
Eats too much sugar mostly, some alchohol. I told him:). Reg heart doc put him
on allopurinol. I told him why not try MSM. Put in email to alt doc but
he(husband) took it (MSM) only a few days while waiting for answer. We noticed
his blood was thicker as he cut himself and it did not flow a gusher like
usual. What?? He said he quit MSM as he has some chest pain. What do you all
think of MSM and thickening of the blood?? or ? He had been on allopurinol for
about 3 weeks at least. They did say it took about a month to work. He was
only taking 1000 mg MSM twice a day.

 Hi again Sol,
Regarding your taking MSM for the RA, a friend informed me that the dose
 is
 very important; At least 12 1,000mg MSM Tabs + 6 1,000mg Vit C--He
 reported
that he had recieved recognizable relief with this dose after only a week.
Of course, you could use the powders and stir in juice of choice--only
 make
sure you're at this large minimum dose in order for effective relief.

one word about curing RA with colloidal silver.
Anyone have any experience with using CS for either RA or Lupus?

CS*****OT, need your help

2000-08-07 Thread Debbie McDonald
Hello All,
Some of you know me and many do not. I am sorry to take up space
but many here are very well read in alternative therapies and I
need help for my friend's daughter. She was diagnosed with crohn's
a few years ago. I had thought they were doing well, we lost touch
when they moved away. I talked with her yesterday and the docs
have basically sent her daughter home to die(22 years old), but
not until they had removed 2/3 of her colon and ileum:(. She told
me she has crohn's from her esophagus down and has growths too.
She has a duodenal bypass. She has also just been diagnosed with a
tumor on her pituitary. They never tested her via GreaterSmokies
etc for pathogens but she has had many rounds of antibiotics of
course. She is no longer able to eat, she gets parenteral
nutrition, exact components I can get? She is on pain management.
I told them about Beck devices and I know about Rife but do not
have a R/B currently. Any ideas on this will be most appreciated.
Debbie

I cannot get him to even try CS for the candida problem, tho I feel sure I
have read that it has cured candida. He maintains that since CS kills
bacteria how will it know not to kill friendly bacteria, which is the origin
of candida in the first place. He has said that if he could see a book or
some documentation explaining that CS works for candida and why, he would
 gladly consider taking it.
If any of you folks have any info on this matter I would be grateful to hear
it, even testimonials that pinpoint candida to CS use. I hate to see him
go the rest of his life having to eliminate wheat from diet, and it sure
makes it a problem working around this in his meal preparations.
 Thanks for anything help ,

I am precisely in the position that your husband fears. Greater
Smokies tests showed ZERO beneficial bacteria and pathogenic
amounts of two very bad guys. I did not however have this test
PRIOR to use of CS so I am not drawing any conclusions, other than
caution. I used CS extensively and in largeish amounts for some
long time. I am definately not cured of Candida. I do think it
cleans it out of your blood nicely and probably the muscles?? Have
you studied the mercury/heavy metal connection in some? I have not
followed this list heavily lately.

CS***?silver wire pure or not??

1999-12-29 Thread Debbie McDonald
Hi All,
As long as I have been hanging around here, you would think I would
know all the answers to making my own but I have used store bought
till recently. My silver either looks blackish while being made or
looks golden and then turns blackish some timer later, within a few
days/week. While making ,it looks like the cloud coming off the wire
is black. I remember seeing reference to possibly getting sterling
wire and this making the wrong color. How can I be sure my wire is the
right wire? Can I take it to a local jeweler and can they tell me?
Thanks so much, Deb

 government will
not compromise on this issue as crores of farmers' lives
 will be in danger.
The terminator gene seed will pose a serious threat to
 Indian agriculture.
The Union cabinet is expected to deliberate on the issue

Clark says, comfortingly, that if you dont' sleep
through the night, you may have the worst night of your life well, I have
not slept through a night in the last decade. And no amount of ornithine is
going to fool my body into thinking eight hours equals four.
I used Clarkes parasite program and the ornithine worked for me like a charm
and I have had insomnia as a symptom for over a decade also. (those wonderful
docs gave me halcyon, thank heaven I had the sense not to try that) If I woke
up, I took another one and fell back to sleep in a much shorter time. So many
factors to this scenario but do you use any nutrasweet, that is what started my
horror story? The year it came out is the year of my decline. Anyone know any
bad things about ornithine supplementation?
I said last week that I connected worsened brain fog/die off(herx). One thing
that connects with what Reid said as to thick blood, last summer I had memory
problems so bad and equilibrium problems and symptoms of stroke and I take meds
for blood pressure that is an adrenal inhibitor as this is only what works for
me so far and now I have such horrific dehydration and I read on the web that
LOW BLOOD pressure causes dehydration. I can sit here and guzzle water all day
and not restore my hydration. Anyone have any theories on that one? Sorry off

Thanks to Debbie McDonald for the information on Grapefruit Seed Extract.
First make note for those not familiar with this product, there is also a
product called grape seed extract and they too use the initials GSE as opposed
to what we are referring to here, which is grapeFRUIT seed extract so just to
keep that straight in your mind, should you wish to try it.
Thanks for calling them Bob. I, too, am going to call and ask questions and
also see about using it on one or more of the horses at the same time as using
CS for the protozoal illness they have. This will render my experiment with CS
less usful to us, but, these are my horses so I have to fight fire with fire,
this is assuming that I like the answers and do use the GSE. And, the cost will
be a major factor. I will find other horses belonging to others to test with
just CS and I will have the less affected horse tested by spinal tap first to
get the definitive diagnosis. I am told that many horses being treated for this
disease die from the kill off of gut bacteria(by allopathic meds of course)
causing colic, which is a bad belly ache to simplify it for the non horsey
folks on this list. That is why I was so very encouraged by Jim's potential
findings regarding this aspect of CS use. Wish we knew for sure. I have to get
the spinal tap done before we start anything so not sure of my time frame,
dealing with others to transport, picking what will hopefully be a competent
vet to do the procedure(scarey for me) etc.
As to the reference on the GSE page to arthritis, I have had a reoccurance of
pain in my knee and foot and very bad pain again in my lower back. With so many
things I am always changing it can be hard to tell what is what but I had quit
taking the store bought CS I was using before I was to have surgery as I
thought it was making my liver hurt. It was during this period after I quit
using CS that the pains returned. I am thinking it was about eight weeks till
it started but I did not log my symptoms so have no idea as I have worse brain
fog tooG, again, a major bad symptom that I am now wondering if CS helped by
killing whatever it was that is affecting my brain??. I have not taken much
since(CS) and so will start again on some store bought (yuck) till I get up and
running, husband is slow on thisG and I should think my results will be very
scientific if my pain goes awayG.
I have more CS plans as regards treating my dogs should they test positive
for any of the tick borne illnesses that are prevalent here in Texas. We've had
lots of hundred+ degree days here with more on the way. You all(put texas twang
on thatG) are invited over to haul hay any time you want to comeG. Deb

I have used the CS on dogs internally and externally. I have used it on
my african grey parrot that had hundreds of dollars of tests at three
vets till one remarked, well, she just might die anyway.:( I treated
her myself and she has been fine since, about two years now. Her only
left over symptom was nagging at one area of feathers and I spray her
with CS diluted and she looks so soft and healthy in her feather
condition now. She is not a plucker. I have heard of others using CS in
their exotic parrots. I mist her and let some go up her nares too ,some
greys/parrots are prone to infections in the nares(nostrils). I will
start three horses on CS in mega doses within the next two weeks for a
hard to kill protozoal infection with neuro symptoms. Deb

Re: Treating MS?

1998-06-10 Thread Debbie McDonald
/msmilk.htm
 If the page isn't available e-mail donwiss @ panix.com for a copy.

 (11) The following is a list of articles in medical journals, which were
published at about the time that prednisone became popular in the treatment
of MS. They appear to connect MS with celiac-like intestinal morphology.

Cook, Gupta, Pertschuk, Nidzgorski Multiple Sclerosis and Malabsorption
 Lancet; June 24, 1978, p. 1366

Fantelli, Mitsumoto Sebek Multiple Sclerosis and Malabsorption Lancet
 May 13, 1978 p. 1039-1040

Davison, Humphrey, Livesedge et al. Multiple Sclerosis Research Elsevier
 Scientific Publishing New York, 1975

I find it curious that the connection between malabsorption and MS stopped
at about the same time that prednisone and other such steroids became
the treatment of choice for MS. As I'm sure you know, prednisone incites
the re-growth of the villi despite the ingestion of gluten, in the celiac
gut. Investigators who did endoscopies on MS patients admit that they have
not asked about the patients' use of such drugs.

 (12) Some literature from the celiac view point:

Drs. Cooke Holmes in _Coeliac Disease_ 1984; Churchill Livingstone, NY
say that 10% of celiacs have neuropathic symptoms. Many appear to be
associated with demyelination. Fineli et. al. echo that figure in Adult
celiac disease presenting as cerebellar syndrome _Neurology_ 1980; 30:
 245-249.

Cooke Holmes come right out and express some of their frustration with
neurologists for ignoring the potiential for neuropathic celiac.

 In this article:

Beversdorf D, Moses P, Reeves A, Dunn J A man with weight loss, ataxia,
and confusion for 3 months _Lancet_ 1996 Feb 17;347(8999):446

They discuss the neurological manifestations of adult celiac disease which
include cerebellar ataxia, sensory neuropathy, myopathy, hyporeflexis, and
seizures. These symptoms resemble those of Vitamin E deficiency. Patients
with abetalipoproteinaenemia, who lack the lipoproteins necessary to carry
fat-soluble vitamins, have similar symptoms. These patients respond to
 water-miscible Vitamin E supplementation.

 In this article:

Cooke WT, Neurologic manifestations of malabsorption. In Handbook of
clinical neurology, volume 28 (metabolic deficiency diseases of the nervous
 system, part II), Amsterdam; North Holland Publishing Company, 1976;
 225-41.

They discuss the many neurological manifestations that are associated with
coeliac disease, including ataxia, peripheral neuropathy, myelopathy,
 myopathy, and dementia.

A new school has emerged, on the heels of the following report:

Hadjivassiliou, et. al. Does cryptic gluten sensitivity play a part in
 neurological illness? _Lancet_ 1996; 347: 369-371

They found that 57 percent of those with neurological problems of
unknown cause also had antibodies to gliadin, which is a component of
gluten. Sixteen percent of them had coeliac disease, a much higher level
than normally found. Most of the patients with the anti-gliadin antibodies
did not have other symptoms of coeliac disease such as poor absorption of
 vitamins.

 (13) There is supposedly a book on MS written by a Greg Nooney, a fellow
that has cured himself with a gluten-free diet. He may be in Colorado.

For more information on avoiding these foods, these pages have annotated
 links points to many resources:

   The Gluten-Free Page: http://www.panix.com/~donwiss/
   The No Milk Page: http://www.panix.com/~nomilk/

And this is the diet that I really think people with MS should be on:

   The Paleolithic Diet Page: http://www.panix.com/~paleodiet/

Since switching to it, and not wearing my glasses but occasionally, my
nearsightedness has improved more than 1.25 diopter in each eye (but I am a
 celiac and don't have MS).

Buy a half gallon of milk. Bring it almost to a boil. Cool it to the
point that you can easily put your hands in the pot. Put starter yogurt
in the milk container. Add the warm milk. Fill a playmate cooler with
body temp water(run your wrist under the water like you do for a baby's
bottle). Put the milk container in the cooler. Close the lid and let it
sit overnight. Voila! half gal yogurt Deb

we're here for. If you've used CS for something lately, or you
haven't chipped in with your story in a while, feel free to post!
There are always people looking for the info.

Well, here goes, I had been using CS myself as I considered myself very
toxic, from slow bowels, and possibly a resistant staph?? among other
things. I then used a parasite program, also drank too much sugar and
started feeling pain in the liver?gall bladder area so decided to lay
off silver for awhile. That is when I noticed that after about two weeks
off silver, the pain in the toes on one foot and my knee I had injured a
few years before returned. I am not kidding, it seem the silver had
taken away the pain. Will let you all know when I go back on silver if
the pain goes away again but I feel certain it will, anyone else have
this where you don't think it was a result of lyme in the joints.
