It turns out there is a problem with SMS and Apache Tomcat running on the
Default Web Site Port 80 in IIS.
Here's what we were doing and the issues/fixes/etc. that we ran into.
We wanted to install the Mid-Tier 7.1 on the same server where we had SM
I did not appreciate Axton's link .
I found it very confusing and I was very emotionally hurt by it. *sniff* *sniff*
I had to call mommy and ask her to wipe away the tears.
I should be able to ask questions in any way, shape or form, and you should be
able to figure it out.
You should also help me
Yes
Ran into that issue with the 6.3 Patch 18 client when attempting to connect to
outlook.
We tried a lower 6.3 client and a 7.0 client and both worked.
So you could try a different version of the client tool and see if that fixes
it.

Create a Form that will contain all the HTML Tags you want to remove
Add a Table field onto the Form that holds the ticket/message
When it's submitted, have a filter guide do a table walk over all rows in that
table field
In the Filter Guide have a filter use the replace function:
REPLACE($FIELD_1
r the suggestions though guys.
Thanks,
Matt

Yes there is source code behind the page.
I copied it and dropped it into a html file on my local
Dwayne,
We just ran across the same problem and it seemed that outlook/exchange was
removing a space character from the value we were passing to an enumerated
field.
We then sent it in plain text, and it worked for us.
Also, I would try sending the following in plain text:
Classification !561000
All,
Finally got BMC Support staff to talk to their engineers (after fighting with
them for almost 2 weeks)
Sure enough it was a known bug, and they've created a defect against it.
Should be fixed in Patch 6.

On windows & IIS, when all fails, restart the darn box :-)
On a more serious note, do you see anything in the mid-tier logs or your IIS
logs?
