Enter this under stupid router tricks (it's got to be more expensive than an

No, you need to buy a hardware ISDN simulator/emulator. And they aren't

Well check each end with loopbacks.
You can also make a loopback plug with an RJ-45. 1&2 to 4&5.
I'm assuming that your crossover cable is 1&2 of each to 4&5 of the other.

All,
I am trying to configure 2-2600 routers that have
integrated T1 CSU/DSU WAN interfaces. I am using a
crossover cable connecting the 2 routers back to back.
From reading, I understand I need to enable the
loopback command, but I have found several and none
are working so far. I am using the
reverse the TX & the RX cables so basically a TX on one end, goes into the
RX port on the other end, and vice versa.

Have you tried a different cable? How about swapping which end is DCE?
In my home lab I had one bad cable that caused problems like this.
Very annoying. In

than the other). You get some benefit from having the DTE cable that can be
used for a real connection. These cables are for the high density db60 on a
2500 and other routers.
It's cheaper to buy a single cable designed for back to back from a generic
cable manufacturer. Plus y

As far as I know there is no such Cisco part..
Only third party companies make such cables..
Try Pacific Cable "www.pacificcable.com"...
Or search the archives for other companies that have the back to back
cables...
