I have a Pismo upgraded to 1Gb RAM, 900MHz G3, and I was wondering if
Unreal Tournament would work OK on this setup? I'm not too sure if the
graphics card can handle the game.

If this doesnt fix it, the problem is either in the ribbon cables
themselves (likely where they coil around the clutches) or where the
cable connect to the actual LCD panel in the display.

I've had to face the fact that I need to go wireless, but Apple's
Airport pages aren't clear on hardware specs. Can I run an Airport
card on a vanilla Lombard? What is the best recommendation out there
for
a.) a card (for my Lombard's PCMCIA slot, I'm guessing)
b.) cards for a G3 366 tower
CDRW I bought new for this purpose but couldn't
get it recognized either through my firewire card. (works fine on my PC
though) Am I doing something wrong or does this machine just hate
external cd burners?

You plug the hub into the USB port on your powerbook and plug your
peripherals into the hub. I've seen 4 port hubs for around $30, not sure
about MAC/PC or USB1/USB2.
I would love to do this but my Wallstreet doesn't have USB at all so I
have to use a card.

install a new battery (actually put a used one in mine, but it was $10
vs. $50/60) to do this I believe you have to completely remove the
display as well, although I'm not 100% sure on that one.

I got the student edition of MS Office for OSX, and when I tried to
start Entourage up it said I had used up my allotted installations.
I only installed Office once, and then tried to USE Entourage (since
it can do Japanese). If this were 9.x or prior, I could just mess

I have a WallStreet PB whose display shows two thin light vertical
lines, about 1-2 pixels wide, dividing the screen into three vertical
panels, almost exactly equal in width, like a triptych. Anyone seen
this? Is it likely to be just a bad cable connection?

electronics and can be corrupted by being read in a MAC card slot.
As a result I use the USB connection so the camera's electronics will do
the translation.
If your camera has a compact flash card you should have no problem.

RAM from
them, and they shipped a replacement overnight, with a prepaid return
for the bad one. Dunno how this would work for an overseas sale, but
in general I'd recommend them.
