I believe Ezequiel is referring to the old LTSP4 "ltspinfo" command that
queried an ltspinfod daemon running on the client for info and allowed
for remote shutdown/reboot of the client.
That tool was dropped from LTSP5 because it was a huge security hole.

drivers were installed on the server (as those drivers mess with the gl
libs).
If that's the case, you can fix it by either removing the proprietary
drivers, or by disabling compiz for all users:

of interface you are using there is no reason this printer should not
work on a TC

The only way I can think of is if the browser ran locally on the thin clients. You would have to setup the local aps part for LTSP, then have a thin client capable of having and running the browser locally.A little more administration and setup though. What are your thin clients or your proposed
It is working. When you log in via the thin client, you are actually on the server machine, which is the 254 IP address.
The static IP address you assign is only for the initial boot and if
you are setting up any local media (local floppies, CD's ,etc).
