I need some help installing this kit on my 300SDL. If I'm reading the FSM
correctly, the connections are made under the fuse box at #16 fuse.
I don't see where there is enough slack in the attached wires to allow getting
under there. Perhaps there is more disassembly required than I think.
No, fuse #16 was eliminated after end number 269896, my end number is
267785, so I have the melted fuse box at fuse # 16 location with a brand
new, unused, PO installed blower motor and a fuse kit in my hand.

Well I guess you knew it was alive but tonight I got all the brakes setup to
my satisfaction, bled them and got new fluid through all the lines, got the
parking brake set so it seems pretty good (the foot pedal still needs work)
so I took him for a ride
My experience is with 80s diesel Rabbits, I had three. I did struts many
times and only needed the cheap (maybe $25) spring compressor. You don't
use it until the strut is off the car. I clamped it in a vice, chained the
spring, compressed a few inches and changed the shocks.
Easy to get
The rear main seal leak on my wife's Lexus ES300 is down to one drop every two
days from six to eight drops per day three weeks ago, after another leak was
fixed.
Back in January I had the timing belt, gaskets and seals replaced at a Toyota
dealership, one year warranty, unlimited mileage.
