weirdness. Whenever I connect using kppp I cannot open anything else. Netscape, Kmail infact everything ends up as dead icons, nothing responds. However if I run /sbin/ifup ppp0 before starting X I can use the desktop as normal and that is what I am having to do. Weird huh Andrew
