I had to rebuild a server, I moved it to Ubuntu 22.04. it is a Zoneminder
server.
I noticed that the time in the logs was showing. EDT. The machine is on
CDT. If I do a date commend I get the right date and tz but the logs show
EDT, I have tried to find the source of the problem, anyone seen this o
have a number of applications running, I've always had a

if I can migrate to Wayland and get on something more
modern and not so intensive as Compiz. Love it but I think
it is time to start looking at leaving it. Wayland appears to
be much less resource intensive, yet I can keep my cube
and other effects.

That is what I suspected, as I saw that several screens had
changed. I just sent you the kludge fix I did to get it to work
disabled STP on the trunk port on switch b. that took care of
it.
