Wow - someone else who didn't have luck with Lyrica.  My legs got so weak I couldn't stand/walk alone.  They still don't feel as strong as they did before the Lyrica (if you could say the word "strong").  I'm back to accupuncture (which really seems to be the best thing right now), riding my st

I tried Lyrica for about ten days.  At the end of that time my walking was such that I did not know which way my legs would take me.  Lyrica had the same effect on me that Baclofin (sp) did.  I took the Lyrica in November. I am now walking better but my legs still feel like wooden solders and

Hi Mary Eden,   I don't know the cost of Lyrica, but it has been suggested to me that I do exactly that and I will call the drug rep about it. I think it is pretty expensive, as there is no generic form yet. So I've heard.   I will find out though.   Thanks - Hugs to you   Linda in Bothell, WA

Hi Debbie,   I have Regence Blue Shield. Funny thing, when I was giving myself  high doses of methotrexate shots, they were willing to pay for my anti-nausea drug which $54.00!!! per pill!!   My neurologist says he won't give up. He will go some research on other drugs, write another letter to Reg

Linda & Rob and all, You can take the rest of my perscription!  I was doing so well for a while there with the leg weakness and then I started on Lyrica.  I started slow for a couple of weeks, then I noticed I could hardly make it up the stairs at night.  I also couldn't even button a blouse.

Rob,   I'm so glad you have had such success with Lyrica. My neuro gave me a month supply to see if it agreed with me and helped me. Well I had no side effects and it was the first time in almost 4 years with TM that I have had any relief from the constant burning, tingling etc. So my neuro called
