The four of us mentioned in a previous post also saw a Harlan's Hawk
perched in a cottonwood at the south end of Barr Lake. The bird was
all black with a "white necklace". Best place to view the bird is
near the corner of 128th Avenue and Tower Road at the south end of

seen and heard them on several occasions on the big rocks. One of the
Prairie Falcons was sitting on a ledge on the backside of Shiprock -

Rock. One of the Peregrines was perched on top of Creation Rock

Stopped by the feeders at the Red Rocks Trading Post about 1:00 P.M.
this afternoon. The Golden-crowned Sparrow was spotted feeding by the
lower apple tree. Yesterday morning I saw him on the flat stone just
to the left of the upper apple tree.
