Sue, my brief exposure to hoof boots is a lot depends on the anatomy of your
horse, then how young how much energy time you have, Ha. I started out
with the old Macs G. They stayed on lasted a long time, but buckling them was
kind of a pain

when using a boot, it is not on for a whole day of driving or riding.

We have successfully used Old Mac boots for driving. We have used them in a
small show, no problem. We have even used them to cover both front feet when
we lost a shoe on one and still had the other
and do lots more road riding now that
the bugs are gone and the heat is down. Finne is barefoot and has
been his whole life and has beautiful feets (his farrier loves them!)
but the roads can get pretty hard and rocky.
I want to have a set of boots on hand to use and wanted some advice.
