do with NPTL (sp?) in the new glibc (shipped with RedHat 9)? Is that

Is python 2.3 absolutely necessary for freevo 1.4? Would it be able to

ensure that freevo run successfully from the beginning.

for non-US locales properly to the tvtime channel numbering (e.g.

ffmpeg provides a lavc mp3 encoder, which should be pretty
fast...
Hmm. I was just testing VCR_CMD as given. Perhaps some changes need to
be made to the way that recording is handled to support ffmpeg as an
alternative?

a RPM, the CWD is not the default /usr/local/freevo. I
softlinked the runtime directory into the build directory so freevo_python
is in ./runtime/apps. I even softlinked freevo_python to python in the
runtime/apps directory, same error.
