This will stop freevo parsing the output of the xine command.
I don't think it will make any difference but will stop the call backs
from stdout and stderr.

Just upgraded my freevo installed from 1.7.1 to 1.7.5. Now my TV guide
isn't working anymore. I have a valid TV.xml file that was working just
fine before the install, allowing browsing the TV etc. however now it
doesn't work.

Has there been any changes to the way freevo uses xine between 1.7.1 and
1.7.5?
It appears to be issuing the correct command:
/usr/bin/xine --auto-play=fq --hide-gui --borderless --geometry
720x576+0+0 --no-splash --stdctl -V xxmc -A alsa --no-lirc

Radio times site seems to lack any data after midnight, no 2008 details
in the XML yet.
If you are using DVB then you can get them from dvb using this program
(spend a while searching):

This isn't really to do with freevo, but related :)
I have most of my media on a central file server (linux + samba), so
all my DVD's, Photos and Music are all shared from a big central disk.
I also share out the local tv recording directory from my freevo box
via samba.
