Can you describe what you do to get access so quickly? In my case i
start item chooser and Safari says busy until I give up and press escape. It
then says something like 19 items loaded canceling item chooser. if I don’t hit
escape it just keeps saying busy.

doing this as I found only
tabbing back and forth in the table works otherwise your text and the
substitution end up in the same edit field.

I tried command, shift, h, and there was no change. I do hear VO say
Default Headers.
Any tips on how I can adjust the default headers or another way to get rid of

Meanwhile sinking to my 4S on the same computer with the same settings is quick
and flawless.
One plus is that Apple support has called me back a few times to see if things
were resolved. I've had very nice conversations. They are still however as
baffled as I am.

because it is a new phone it is busy doing lots of things as it
sets up. I was also letting the phone download music at the same time so
perhaps that slowed things down. Still itunes reported the sink as complete
and it wasn't.
I hope no one else experiences this problem.

Hi Harmony,
In addition to all these great suggestions the Keyremap4macbook app
could be handy as this could allow keys to be placed whereever they are most
handy. It might also be helpful to have the capslock function as the two VO
keys as that could free up some fingers.

Sarah's tip helped. it turned out the text I was seeing was in the
subject field not in the to field as I thought. When I put the list name in
the subject area in the criteria area the rule worked as expected.

out that I could do nothing. I restarted my computer and somehow it then
worked correctly. Just booting into safe mode then leaving it did something

I have long wanted the VO keys "Control Option" to be available as the caps
lock key. this would allow one finger to hold down the keys. Also, the
location of the Caps Lock key is ideal for reaching many keys that need to be
pressed with the Voice Over keys.

This is helpful as I can use google drive as a easy way to transfer files to
and from my mini just like dropbox. i'll do this until I find a monitor. I do

Any tips on doing the memory upgrade safely? Assuming the ram I have is the
correct ram I have 8 gigs sitting here I'd like to install.

I appreciate this tips very much. I'd be lost without this list. With it I'm
doing much much more then I ever did on my Windows machines and rather then
fighting with the computer, I'm usually having fun.

for some time now I'm asked to update Adobe Flash player. I can't figure out

I have never used migration assistant. is that a better way to go?
