I managed to get KDE 2.2 installed and operative. I followed Civilime's
advice and did urpme kde followed with,
cd directory of kde rpm's
rpm -ivh *.rpm
Ran into numerous dependencies, eliminated the KDE rpm's I didn't want
causing dep. issues then ran rpm -ivh *.rpm and looked at the deps.
As a follow-up to my last message, when I tell KMail to check my mail, it
tells me that it can't talk to klauncher.

In order for you to accomplish this you will have to upgrade your
current version of KDE, which is likely KDE
I just download the rpm's of KDE 2.1 for Mandrake 7.2, but I can't install
it because I get the following mensage
libkdefakes.so.3 is needed by kdeadmin-2.1-mdk
Whta can I do to solve this problem?
