Thanks Hannie for your feedback and your awesome work translating the
guide, that's the spirit!
Cheers,
David.
Sorry for my grumbling in the other mail I sent earlier today to the
list on this subject. I know everyone is doing his best
everything is in
Dutch now.

Hi,
I am still anxiously waiting for the Dutch translation of the
Gnome-user-docs to appear in the Dutch version of Natty. When can I
expect to see them in the Dutch version of Natty?

We, Ubuntu Dutch Translators, are currently translating gnome-user-docs, the

first part of our translation about a week ago, and it was committed
afterwards. But from what you say here I suppose that is no longer

so far I do not see one word in Dutch when I press F1. For
the translation of a document as large as this one it is absolutely
essential that it is worth the effort. It would be very sad if all this
work appears to be useless.

And as for ubuntu-docs,
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu-docs/natty/+lang/nl, is this
what is called the new topic-based help help (Desktop Help), and will
this be used in Oneiric?

suggestions are: startmenu, dashboard (which is an accepted word in
Dutch), snelstartmenu (= quick start).
