It could be the old ground loop problem, which is present in many car mp3
players, simply because the two pieces of equipment may not have a commond
ground. The easiest way to test is to have the computer and the amp both on
one of them 4 plug extender cables, that is if it isn't already like
I think the plugin your talking about is WinCue, cant be sure, but that
sounds like it. Theres also one called Joe's MiniDisc Plugin (or something
to that effect) which adds 4 seconds pause, thats it, just tick the box and
it'll pause, which is all you need.

They are cheap enough I might as well just for the 5.1 output that they

You will be satisfied with the card, for sure, I have yet to build up a
digital audio add-on (although it will be soon) and I love the card
already (if you can, try and find with gold-plated connectors, you
on minidisc.org (think its in the hacking section), or
to get a deck which has a keyboard input and do it that way, which is the
way I do it.

I have just looked over the mirconics interface, and it does work with the
MZ-R55, check out www.micronics.com, which has commercial versions and diy
